New York City
In his Ironman suit, Tony is underwater in the bay off the coast of New York City. He attaches a glowing device to a massive underwater electrical conduit. It attaches to the lines and begins to glow blue white as it powers up. Tony propels himself up to the surface and flies out of the water and towards the skyline of the city.
He connects with Kindle via his heads up display. "Good to go on this end. The rest is up to you Kin."
"You disconnected the transmission lines? We're completely off the grid?" Kindle confirms as she brings the software online from her desk.
Tony blast towards the city and a towering building in the center of the other skyscrapers. "Stark Tower's about to become a beacon of self-sustaining clean energy." He declares.
"Well, assuming that the arc reactor accepts the program and takes over the operations and it actually works." Kindle replies and Tony chuckles.
"I assume. Light her up." In the distance Stark Tower lights up.
"We are online. How does it look?" Kindle asks.
"Like Christmas..." He considers. "...but with more... me."
"I still say the name is too much." He can hear the smirk in her voice. "Pepper wants to go wider on the public awareness campaign. We'll need to do some press." Kindle tells him as she starts to collect data. "Preliminary data is showing a better than expected output for the tower."
Tony sighs. "Kindle, you're killing the moment."He lands on a specially designed landing pad on the balcony of the tower.
"Well, if you would get in here we can see about making a moment." Kindle points out with a smile.
Tony starts to walk along a walkway as robotic arms deconstruct and put away the components of the suit.
JARVIS comes over the comm device in Tony's ear. "Sir. Agent Coulson of SHIELD is on the line."
"I'm not in. I'm actually out." Tony replies as he walks across the balcony and the last of the Ironman suit is removed.
"Sir, I'm afraid he's insisting." JARVIS replies.
"Grow a spine, JARVIS. I got a date." Tony approaches the doors of the massive living area on the penthouse level. Inside Kindle is standing in front of a holographic display of the output from the new reactor system.
Tony briefly comes to a stop when he catches sight of her. She has bundled her hair into a careless bun on top of her head, tendrils escaping around her face. Dressed in a pair of silk pajama pants and his megadeath t shirt he is momentarily stunned.
"Levels are holding steady. The wider applications are staggering if we can replicate these levels." Kindle is busy swiping data into new columns to be analyzed.
"Of course they are, I was directly involved. Which leads me to my next question. How does it feel to be a genius?" Tony comes up behind her and reaches up to turn off the display. He slips his arms around her waist and pulls her back till his chest is pressed to her back.
"Well, speaking as the smartest person in the room, it's pretty great." Tony snickers and presses a kiss to the side of her neck. "I'm not sure that has to do with the current situation though." She turns in his arms and slides her hands across his shoulders.
"What do you mean? All this camefrom you." Tony nods around them and slips his hands under the t-shirt to run his fingers over her waist.
Kindle arches a brow. "No, all this came from that." She taps Tony's arc reactor.
