Leni's fists clenched when she saw Risa standing outside her house again. For three weeks now, Risa had been showing up at her house every single day. Leni couldn't help but feel a mix of anger and hurt as she watched her ex-lover wait patiently in front of her house.

One night, Leni stepped out of the house, she was startled to see Risa standing near her car. She froze for a moment, trying to process the sight. Risa looked up from the ground and their eyes met.

“Pangga..”

Leni's expression hardened, and she avoided Risa's gaze. “Anong pang ginagawa mo dito?”

Risa's expression turned pleading, stepping closer to the older woman. “I just want to talk to you.”

Leni's expression hardened, and she shook her head. “No, Risa. Wala na tayong dapat pang pag-usapan pa.”

Risa's expression fell. “Leni, please. Kahit sandali lang..”

Leni's voice was firm, her expression resolute. “Tama na, Risa. Tapos na tayo There's nothing more to talk about.”

Risa's eyes filled with pain. She took a step closer, desperation in her voice. “Please, just let me explain.”

“Wala ng dapat ipaliwanag, Risa. You made your choice, at ngayon tapos na tayo.”

Risa felt tears welling up in her eyes, but she tried to blink them back. She gripped on Leni's arm. “Please, Leni. Just let me explain. I know I made a mistake, but I need to tell you why.”

Leni tried to pull her arm away, but Risa's grip was firm. Bitiwan mo 'ko, Risa.”

Risa clutched Leni's arm tighter. “Leni.. pangga..”

Leni's anger rose, and she wrenched her arm free from Risa's grip. “Sabi ng bitiwan mo 'ko, Risa! Bakit ba hindi ka nakikinig?!”

Risa's expression was desperate. “Because I can't lose you! Mahal pa kita, Leni! Just.. just let me explain..”

Leni's voice was sharp. “You've already lost me, Risa. You had your chance, and you blew it.”

Risa's voice became pleading, tears streaming down her cheeks. “Please, Leni. Please believe me. I made a huge mistake. I was stupid and weak and I will never, ever forgive myself for hurting you. But please, please give me another chance.”

Leni's tough facade crumbled, and tears welled up in her eyes. “How can I trust you again, Risa? Sinaktan mo 'ko.. nasaktan mo 'ko.”

Risa dropped to her knees, her expression desperate. “Leni, please. Alam kong nagkamali ako. I know I can't take back what I did, but I swear, I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you if you just give me a chance.”

Leni's heart ached as she watched Risa kneel in front of her, tears streaming down her face. “Risa.. please, just let me go..”

Risa's shook her head, her heart breaking. “Pero.. pero mahal kita! I can't just let you go."

Leni's voice trembled as tears finally fell down from her eyes. “Risa.. stand up.”

“Leni, mahal kita.. sobra.”

“Risa, please..”

“Leni.. pangga..”

Leni knelt down in front of Risa, wiping away her own tears. They were now face-to-face, and the tension between them could be felt. She gently wiped away Risa's tears, her own emotions still raw. She spoke softly.

“Risa, I love you. You know I do.. But I'm hurting.. ayoko ring masaktan ka pa..”

Risa leaned into Leni's touch, feeling her own emotions in turmoil. Leni's heart ached as she felt Risa lean into her touch.

Risa's heart raced as she felt Leni's hands wiping away her tears. She looked into Leni's eyes, their faces close together.

“I.. I'm sorry..” Risa managed to say, her voice breaking. “I never meant to hurt you..”

“I'm sorry too, Risa.. but I can't keep doing this back and forth. It's not fair to either of us.”

Risa's heart ached at Leni's words. She knew Leni was right, but it still hurt to hear the reality of the situation.

“I.. I need to go.”

Risa's heart raced as she grabbed Leni's arm, not wanting her to go just yet. “Leni, no. Please, don't go. Not yet..”

Leni's expression softened at Risa's plea, but she stayed firm. She gently pulled her arm away, stepping back.

“I love you, Risa.”

There was a moment of silence as Leni looked at Risa.

“I'm sorry.”

And with that, Leni stood up and started to walk away, leaving Risa kneeling in front of her house.
