YN POV:

I didn't look back, not even once, as I started walking away from the room. My face was still burning from the embarrassment, and I was doing everything in my power to hold onto the last shreds of my dignity.

Hell, that was humiliating.

This always happens. Every time, without fail, I manage to knock my own personality score down to zero in front of him. And I just know that jerk is probably standing there, smirking like the arrogant prick he is.

The thought of his smug face made my fingers itch. I wanted so badly to turn back and chuck my sandal straight at his face. A perfect bullseye. That would wipe that grin off him.

But no. Not today. I kept walking, head held high, as though I still had the upper hand-even if my insides were screaming otherwise.

As she left , there was a soft knock on the door before it creaked open, and Jimin walked in casually, hands in his pockets. "Man, She's crazy, you know. Meadows crazy spices, I swear" he said , shaking his head as he approached near Jungkook.

Who didn't respond.

Jimin raised a brow, looking at him curiously. Usually, Jungkook would smirk, throw a sarcastic comment, or roll his eyes at Jimin's exaggerated remarks. But this time, there was nothing. His face was completely blank, his eyes cold and distant, staring straight ahead like he wasn't even in the room.

Taehyung entered shortly after, leaning against the doorframe as he crossed his arms. He exchanged a confused glance with Jimin before speaking up. "Your timing was perfect, Jeon..." he said, looking toward Jungkook.

Still, He didn't reply.

His silence wasn't just unusual-it was unsettling. The man who always had a cutting remark or a cocky retort seemed... lost.

Jimin tilted his head, stepping closer. "Hey, Jungkook, what's going on? You good?"

But He didn't so much as blink. His jaw was tight, his fingers clenched at his sides. His mind wasn't here-it was somewhere far away, replaying every second of what had just happened.

Her.

The way she walked out without looking back, her face flushed with embarrassment. The fire in her eyes. The sharpness of her words that cut straight through him. He could still feel the lingering sensation of her warmth from when he caught her. And her reaction... damn, it had him spiraling in ways he didn't want to admit.

Taehyung frowned, exchanging another glance with Jimin. "He's completely gone," he muttered under his breath.

Jungkook finally moved, leaning back against the table, His cold gaze shifted to Jimin and Taehyung, his expression as sharp as a blade. He didn't look angry-he looked deadly calm, and that was worse.

"We're missing something," he said, his voice low but filled with an unsettling edge. "Something doesn't add up."

Jimin and Taehyung exchanged confused glances, unsure of where this was going. Before either of them could respond, Jungkook turned fully to face them, his eyes narrowing dangerously.

"Befere we even get to that-What the hell were you all doing?" he asked, his voice cutting through the silence like ice. "I told you not to let anything happen to her."

Taehyung frowned, confused. "Nothing happened to her, Jungkook. We made sure-"

But his voice exploded, loud and sharp, making them both flinch. "BUT IF SHE HAD JUMPED, HUH?"

His words rang loudly in the room, the fury in his voice enough to send a chill down their spines. His jaw tightened, and his chest heaved as he stepped closer, his gaze now burning with unfiltered rage.
