The people standing outside heard the roar sound of the car and turned their head, their eyes locked onto the car. But they got frozen. The moment they saw the name plate–'JK' their faces drained of color. Fears spread like wildfire.

Yn watched the whole crowd's terror grew. The dread they felt so thick in the air, she could almost taste it. They knew who he was. Everyone did–JEON JUNGKOOK– the devil, and the biggest enemy of Meadows.

Yn turned to him, her voice was barely more than a whisper," You can still stop this, Jeon. You don't have to do this." Her voice was desperate, and it kind made him feel satisfaction.

"Why would I Stop, Hm? I also warned you to stop running, but did you Listened? No. And I can't even leave without paying visit to my In Law's, Wifey."

"I'm not you wife, and i never will be."

"Does a King need permission to claim what's his?" His stare was intense.

"You are not a King," She muttered, but even to her own ears.

Soon She saw her house coming into view, her breath was literally caught in her throat. He slowed the car to stop right in front of the massive mansion. But before she could even process, she saw a guard from the estate stepped outside. He froze, his eyes wide with shock the moment he saw the car– and more importantly the man inside it.

Without a word the guard spun on his heels and bolted back into the mansion.

She could feel something was about to happen.

After few seconds, the door to the car creaked open, she leaned . She leaned forward, her curiosity getting the better of her. She bent slightly to get a glimpse of who was outside, she was shock seeing that two figure, here too.

That Alien Kim and beside him that Short man Park, looking devoid of any warmth. She stepped out of the car, her movement was slow and careful.

As she turned back to face the road, her eyes widened in disbelief. Her jaw practically hit the ground.

A line of sleek black cars stretched behind them, all identical, as far as she could see. Car after Car, each filled with more men, all undoubtedly working under him.

"Fuck...Is he going to start a war here or what?" She thought, her throat dry as she tried to swallow the lump of disbelief rising inside her. She turned to him, who was already out of that car and staring at her with smirk.

"Are you seriously going to start a war here or what?"

His eyes were already on her, a wicked smirk tugging at his lips, his gaze was intense, dark and full of amusement at her reaction. He didn't answer right away, instead he took a slow steps toward her, his tall frame towering over hers, making her feel small in comparison.

"If you want..I'll." she blinked her eyes at his remark in confusion. His words make no sense.

"What, what do y–" before she could finish her question, he reached out, his hand intertwining with hers.

The sudden contact make her flinch. His hold was strong and tightened. If he had no intention of letting her go, never and ever.

Her legs moved on their own as he dragged her forward, her mind was spinning in confusion and fear. This was her home, yet she felt like a stranger being forced into it.

As she stepped inside the mansion, she couldn't help but notice the way every pair of eyes turned toward them. The workers, usually bustling with tasks, were frozen in place, their faces etched mic of shock and fear–not for her, but for the man who was holding her hand tightly. For the first time in her life, she felt genuine fear.
