Jungkook’s POV

"Can you speak now?" I asked coldly, my voice sharp and void of emotion as I glared down at him. My jaw clenched tighter with every passing second, my patience hanging by a thread. My eyes were fixed on the figure sitting before me.

The man lifted his head slowly, his eyes meeting mine. His expression was unreadable, his voice a detached monotone as he finally spoke. "I didn’t expect this from you."

"like I told you," I snapped, my tone low and cutting as I moved toward the chair opposite him. Sitting down, I leaned back with an air of authority.

Mr. Jeon’s jaw tightened, his fingers twitching as he poked his cheek in frustration. His eyes burned with anger as he finally let loose, his voice rising. "Do you even know what you’ve done, Jeon? Huh?" He leaned forward, his glare sharp enough to pierce through steel. "They’re our enemies! And you... you’ve gone and pulled this bullshit! What the hell were you thinking?"

I didn’t flinch. His words didn’t faze me..they only fueled the fire inside me. I leaned forward slightly, resting my elbows on my knees, my gaze unwavering as I replied, my voice dripping with defiance. "What I’ve done... is exactly what needed to be done."

His nostrils flared as he slammed his hand on the table between us, the sound echoing through the room. "You don’t get to make that call, Jungkook! Not when it involves them! Do you have any idea what you’ve set in motion?!"

I smirked faintly, my eyes narrowing. "I know exactly what I’ve done,

Jeon’s glare hardened as he leaned forward, his voice sharp and laced with venom. "I want that girl out of your house in a week, or I’ll make sure to—"

"I dare you to complete that sentence." I cut him off, my voice dropping into an icy, threatening tone that sent a chill through the room.

The air turned deadly silent, my words hanging in the space between us like a blade poised to strike. I didn’t look away, my eyes locked on his, daring him to test me. My jaw clenched, the muscle ticking as I leaned back slightly, exuding calm authority that only amplified the warning in my tone.

Mr. Jeon froze, his lips pressing into a thin line. His anger was evident, but for a moment, hesitation flickered in his eyes. He knew I wasn’t bluffing.

"You’ve lost your mind," he finally muttered, shaking his head in disbelief. "That girl.... She will become a big trouble in our work, Jeon Jungkook."

"She’s my problem," I replied coldly, cutting through his words like a knife. "And if anyone dares to lay a hand on her, they’ll find themselves six feet under before they can even blink. That’s a promise."

The room grew heavier, as i finished my last words.

His voice once again cut through the thick silence, sharp and commanding. "You’re forgetting your main motive, Jeon," he said in a deep, authoritative tone, his eyes boring into mine with cold fury.

My jaw tightened as I glared back, "I’ll never—"

"But what you’ve done," he interrupted, his voice rising into a shout that echoed through the room, "this stupidity... do you think it’s anything less than loser shit?! Do you?!"

My hands balled into fists at his words, the heat of my anger bubbling beneath my calm exterior. Slowly, I leaned forward, my voice cold and venomous as I said, "I don’t like people talking back. And second," I paused, glaring at him with unrelenting intensity, "I don’t like shouting."

Except hers..

The thought slipped into my mind unbidden, and my breath hitched for a fraction of a second. What the hell? My grip on the moment faltered just slightly, but I masked it with an icy glare, hoping my father wouldn’t catch the shift.
