" I don't see the point in this," El spoke, staring at the screen in confusion.
" Oh come on, it's fun," Ana replied in a whine.
" What's so fun about watching people on screen?"
Gosh, she never felt the need to apologize to Pietro so much. This must've been how she was when they were watching tv.
" It's a tv show! You watch the story happen in front of your eyes," Ana exclaimed, trying to teach her friend.
" What is it with you guys and not knowing what tv is?" Pietro questioned, coming up behind Ana.
" Hey, handsome,"
The girl reached up, Pulling Pietro toward her as she pressed her lips to his. He didn't pull away, deepening the kiss.
" Okay, I think I'd actually try watching this show over seeing that any day," El spoke, pretending to gag.
" That's the spirit!" Ana replied, letting out a giggle.
Ana tossed and turned in her sleep, her brows furrowed. Sweat lined her forehead, her breathing heavy.
" We want you to find the winter soldier and bring him back. He's acting up again," Strucker spoke, staring her down.
" No, I won't do it. You can't make me," she spat, mustering up as much defiance as she could.
" You misunderstand me. There is no choice."
Guards came in through the door behind the man, pinning her to the chair she sat in. They bound her wrists and ankles with leather straps, making her cry out in desperation.
" Ангел," Strucker spoke. (Angel)
She screamed, shaking her head back and forth.
" Снег, богиня, власть," (Snow, Goddess, Power)
" Please stop! No, no," Ana pleaded, tears streaming down her face.
Her mind was cloudy, almost like she had been drugged. She was out of it.
" Смерть," (Death)
Angel shot up, confused by her surroundings. That was until Ana's memories had come floating back to her mind.
She wiped the tears from her face, scoffing at her host's weakness. Still, she didn't linger long, she had a mission to complete.
It had been a while since Angel had seen the surface. She hadn't gotten to come out since Ana had defected from Hydra, a thought that made her angry.
She slid out of bed, not realizing there was someone with her.
" Where are you going? Was it another nightmare?" the boy questioned, still half-asleep.
It took her a moment to recognize him. The speedster.
" Yeah, it was a nightmare," Angel spoke, trying her best to keep the emotion in her voice," I'm just going to grab some water real quick. Go back to bed."
He nodded at that, snuggling deeper into the blankets before falling back asleep. She rolled her eyes at how easy that was. The boy was clueless.
She made her way to the door before her body froze, red energy surrounding her. Angel growled, glaring at Wanda as she entered the room.
Angel's eyes glowed yellow as she retaliated, shoving the girl against the wall. Her eyes were wide as the assassin pinned her.
It was enough noise to wake up the speedster.
" Ana? What the hell are you doing?" he questioned, his voice gravelly from just waking up.
She turned in his direction giving him a sinister smirk. He was too oblivious, still not understanding the situation.
" Ana can't come to the phone right now, but I'd be happy to leave a message. Not that she'll actually get it, but it's the thought that counts," Angel spoke, " Now, are you going to let me finish my mission or am I going to have to get violent?"
Being focused on the boy in front of her, she didn't notice Wanda slipping from her grip until it was too late. The girl slipped behind her, grabbing her in a chokehold.
Angel clawed at her forearm, trying to get air. She could feel the blood under her nails, but it wasn't working.
Pietro shot out of bed, making his way toward the two girls. His expression was a mix of confusion and concern.
" Wait, what are you doing? Stop it!" he exclaimed, looking directly at his sister.
Her grip loosened, giving the assassin the time to recover. She pressed her hands to the girl's arm, the skin sizzling as it burned.
Wanda shouted, pushing the assassin away. Angel took this as her chance, kicking the girl in the back of the legs.
She enjoyed watching the younger girl crumple to the ground. It had been so long since she had gotten to fight someone.
Unfortunately, that was short-lived. A sharp pain exploded in her skull, making her cry out.
Black spots danced in her vision as she blinked. Pietro stood in front of her, a mix of guilt and defensiveness on his face.
She snarled, stumbling toward the boy. Her legs gave out, her head slamming to the ground before she passed out.
