"Yes, hyung. I arrived here." I get off the taxi when I arrive in front of the farmhouse. I bow the taxi driver goodbye before he leaves.

"Make sure to enjoy every moment," Jimin hyung suggests.

"Okay, hyung." He acts like my mother.

"Very good. I'll hang up now."

"Bye."

I put my phone in my jeans pocket, take my beg and walk towards the house.

I found a new job four months ago, but I wasn't good at it. Maybe because of my trauma, I just couldn't focus on the tasks I was given, so I ended up getting fired two weeks ago.

I talked about it to Jimin hyung, and last week, he suggested that I take some time to myself and abandon the worries. He said that I'd find peace in some rural places rather than the urban area since being closer to nature helps our mind. When I told him that I had no place in rural areas, he immediately told me about his mother's house at the end of Seoul city.

The view looks just as astonishing as someone would imagine as the sun goes down. Jimin hyung sent me they keys to the house by one of his men in Korea. I'm so grateful that he has done so much for me. I wished for Chaeyoung and Wooyoung to come with me, but they were busy.

Anyway, I don't know how clean the inside would be, but if it isn't, I won't mind because I can clean for the timepass. I twist the doorknob open, enter, then close it behind me. Surprisingly, I find the living room clean and neat. The light is on, too. I frown, sensing something wrong.

I leave my bag by the door and go inside to check the house. As soon as I step in the middle of the living room, I hear footsteps. Someone's descending from the stairs. I hold my heart in case something bad happens.

A cold chill runs down my spine when the person shows up in front of me. My heartbeat speeds up when our gazes meet just like the first time we met. He looks as handsome as before, but he doesn't wear his typical cold expression. Rather, his eyes tell me something that I don't understand. It's as if he's holding some void inside them.

"Mr. Kim?" I breathe.

"Jungkook," he calls my name with affection.

"W-what are you doing here?" I ask, feeling a bit nervous.

"I'm here to talk to you," he pleads with his eyes. A man who was stone-hearted is suddenly showing emotions.

"What's there to talk about?" I retort strictly.

"I'm here to answer every question of your."

"I have no question, and moreover, how do you know that I'll be here? Did Jimin hyung set this up?" I frown. I'll be devastated if I find out he secretly planned it.

"No, he didn't," he denies quickly. "Actually, I kept an eye on you," he rubs his nape, ashamed. "I was too worried for you, and when I got to know that you were fired, I suggested Jimin hyung to tell you about coming here. He didn't know that I'd be here as well," he confesses.

My blood boils. Not only did he make me come here, but he tricked his own cousin, and he was keeping an eye on me. He is out of his mind.

"Why would you even do it? What do you want from me now?" I bellow.

"I want you to listen to me at least once," he approaches me, but I hold my hand, motion him to stop.

"There's nothing to listen. You didn't talk to me for six months, and now, you appear out of nowhere for what? To excuse your behavior?" I can't control my rage.

"No, Jungkook. I'm not here to make any excuses. I'm here to tell you everything. From the beginning," he tries to persuade me, but I resist.

"And why does the great Kim Taehyung need to do it? Your secretary left you?" My voice sardonic.
