"So Gia, have you decided who you are taking to the concert? You know I am free on Friday night if you pick me up. But it's your decision." Riley says
"Oh, and nobody is home at my house on Friday, so I'll be lonely too, you know. I am always alone on Friday nights maybe change is good for me. " Maya fake frowns
"Guys you have been bugging me and hinting at me for two days. It is still Monday, and you know I can't pick between you two. Seriously, just knock it off! " I speak up
"Fine. " They both sigh
"But seriously who are you thinking of going with? " Riley asks
"I don't know. I am confused. I thought maybe I could take my mom to avoid this situation that just happened between you guys. But she does not know one song. "
"Why don't you take Farkle? It'll be like a first date. " Maya grins
"Well, no, that will be awkward, and frankly, I don't have the guts to ask him out. " I say
"Neither does he. " Maya whispers
"What?" I say even though I heard what she said
"Oh, come on, Gia, he likes you. He never gets his other friends which is us, such gifts. He gives us normal stuff. " Riley says
"Wait, so he does not give you any pre-gifts either? "
"What pre-gifts? He gave you pre-gifts?" Riley is surprised
"Well, yeah, but I thought that he did that for all his friends. "
"No, he does not; I wish he did, but he does not. " Maya says
"Wait what else did he get you?" Riley asks
"Oh, um, a bouquet of like 100 Black flowers and another one of strawberries and another one of lavenders and a space globe which is lying right there." I point toward the globe.
"What? He got you all that stuff, and you didn't tell us!" Maya speaks out
"Sorry," I say
"So it's confirmed. He likes you a lot. Like a lot." Riley says
"Yeah, we gotta do something about this. " Maya says
"Like what?" I ask
"How about me and Maya deal with this?" Riley says
"Oh ya, we will deal with it. " Maya says
They grin at each other which makes me skeptical.
"Are you sure? " I ask
"Oh yeah, we've known him for years. We'll handle it. You just relax. "
"Oh, ok, I guess. But don't blow it or I swear to god-"
"Don't worry we won't " Riley cuts me of
