The Matildas were in high spirits. After a grueling tournament, they'd earned a well-deserved break, and the team decided to let loose with a celebratory night out. Y/n, now 18, sat at the table surrounded by her teammates, practically vibrating with excitement. She'd been begging Mini to let her have her first drink during a team outing.

Mini, sitting across from Y/n, narrowed her eyes. "Alright, but just one drink, Y/n. And I'll be watching you."

Y/n grinned. "One drink, got it!"

Kyra leaned over, smirking. "This is gonna be fun."

The bartender slid a colorful cocktail in front of Y/n. It was bright pink, topped with whipped cream and a cherry, looking more like dessert than alcohol.

Y/n took a sip, her eyes widening. "Oh my gosh, this tastes like candy!"

Caitlin chuckled. "It's always the sweet ones that sneak up on you."

Y/n was halfway through the drink when she started to feel the effects. Her ADHD energy mixed with the buzz from the alcohol was a recipe for chaos. She began giggling uncontrollably at the simplest things, her laughter contagious.

"Kyra, your face is like... so funny," Y/n declared, pointing at her.

Kyra raised an eyebrow. "My face? What about it?"

"It's just... funny! Like, in a good way. You've got, like, the best funny face ever."

The table erupted into laughter, Kyra included.

Y/n finished her drink, bouncing in her seat. "Okay, what's next? Let's do something fun! Like karaoke!"

"Easy there, tiger," Mini said, holding up a hand. "You're not getting another drink."

"But Miniiii," Y/n whined, dragging out her name dramatically. "You're no fun!"

"Someone's tipsy," Alana teased.

"I'm not tipsy," Y/n said, standing up and immediately wobbling. "Okay, maybe a little."

Kyra grabbed her arm to steady her, laughing. "Alright, you lightweight. Let's keep you from falling over."

By the time they got to the karaoke machine, Y/n was unstoppable. She grabbed the microphone and started belting out Dancing Queen at full volume, her voice cracking on the high notes.

Kyra and Macca doubled over laughing, while Caitlin recorded the entire performance on her phone. Mini, arms crossed but clearly amused, watched from the sidelines.

"Go, Y/n!" Kyra cheered, encouraging her antics.

Y/n ended the song with a dramatic bow, nearly toppling off the stage in the process. Mini swooped in just in time to catch her.

"Alright, superstar," Mini said, steering her back to the table. "You've had your fun. Time to sit down before you hurt yourself."

As the night wound down, Y/n slumped against Mini's shoulder, her energy finally fading. "Mini, you're like... the best mom ever," she mumbled sleepily.

Mini softened, brushing Y/n's hair out of her face. "And you're my favorite troublemaker. Now drink some water before you pass out."

The team helped Y/n back to the hotel, Kyra taking over as her self-proclaimed "designated big sister."

The next morning, Y/n groaned as sunlight streamed into her room. "Why does my head feel like it's been kicked by a soccer ball?"

"Welcome to your first hangover," Kyra said, handing her a water bottle and some aspirin. "You were hilarious last night, by the way."

Y/n groaned, burying her face in her hands. "Oh no. What did I do?"

Caitlin smirked, holding up her phone. "Don't worry, I got it all on video."

Despite her embarrassment, Y/n couldn't help but smile. She was surrounded by love and laughter, and even her most chaotic moments were met with unwavering support.
