Calum p.o.v

"She's pretty. Luke is a ass for not letting her hang with us." Ashton says.

"You know why he doesn't let her hang with us." I say.

"Being friends won't hurt her." I laugh to that statement.

"Sure." I roll my eyes and run to my car.

I had enough with today.

I decided to go to the park and skateboard. Get my mind off Ashley, and all this stupid drama.

I then felt my phone vibrate.

I take it out to see a text message from Luke.

'Better stay away from my sis Calum, I don't want any problems.'

I roll my eyes and drive to the park.

"Calum! Mate finally you show up" Derick says.

I give him a hug and start to skateboard.

"What you been up to mate?" Derick asks.

"Same stuff as always. The band and all that." I say.

"Sexy alert mate. She's mine." I stop and turn to see what girl he's talking about.

My eyes focus on Ashley. She's walking with some friends. Her beauty is unbelievable, she is perfect.

Derick runs to her and starts to talk to her. I want to stop him, but it will show I care, and that is what I should not tell or show.

Her eyes then drift to me.

I quickly look away and start to skateboard again.

After several minutes I stop and drink some water.

"I thought I would never see you again, Calum." I turn to see Ashley.

"My question is how Luke let's you come to the park when there is million of guys here, Hemmings." I see her smile.

Oh god her smile is so beautiful.

"He's high. So he fell asleep and I grabbed the car keys and left." She says.

"Can we talk for a bit?" She's asks. I nod and we walk towards a table.

"Imma get to it already. What does my brother mean that he knows you?" I quickly knew what Luke meant by it.

"Oh nothing. He just thinks I'm a bad vibe to you." I lie.

Anger fills throughout me. I want to punch Luke straight in the face.

"I don't think you are bad. You seem like you are, but I can see the other Calum." Her words remind me of my moms words.

"What your full name?" She asks.

"Calum Hood." I say.

She smiles and places one hand on my cheek.

"I trust you. I really do and I hope you feel the same way for me Calum." I then place my hand in her waist.

"I trust you Ashley, but we won't be friends or anything." I quickly slide a bit away from her.

"Why not?" I wish I could tell her the truth, but i can't.

"Because your brother doesn't approve it, and we are totally different people and then we just met." I say.

A sad expression is placed in her face. Making me want to just wrap my arms around her.

"This shit always happens! I hate this life!" Ashley then quickly runs.

I spring up and run to her.

"Hey. Hey. What's wrong." I place my arms around her waist. Her body collapsing to mine made me want to hold her tighter to me.

"Everyone I always try to be real friends with end up leaving because of my brother or because they are different than me." Guilt runs through me.

I wrap my arms tighter around her.

I feel hot tears come out of her falling down to my shirt.

"Ashley, I just don't want you to have problems with Luke." I finally say.

"You won't, we can be friends in a secret." I nod.

"Can we skateboard?" Ashely asks.

I smile and I give her my skateboard.

She starts to ride it and do some small tricks.

"Looks like you finally found the one. How's Abigail doing?" Derick asks.

"Same as always. Her body is here, but not her presence." I say.

"Calum. I have to go before Luke notices I'm gone. Thanks for everything." I quickly give her a hug and we extange numbers.

-three hours later-

"Calum you never fucking so shit!" My dad screams from the kitchen.

I run to my room so I dont cause any more drama since my dad is always drunk.

-five hours later-

I spring up from my bed breathing heavily.

I check the clock. '3:21' a.m.

I go to the restroom and look at the mirror.

I'm sweating badly and I look pale.

I don't know why, but i have a bad feeling about something.

I go check my phone and I see five text messages and two missed calls.

All of them arw from Ashley.

'Calum please come get me. Luke is crazy please.'

In a matter of seconds I'm in my car speeding to Ashley's house.

When I get there all the lights are on.

I then hear some glass breaking.

I run to the door and I nock.

No one seems to hear the door.

I grab the handle and realize its unlocked.

"Luke! Ashley!" I scream.

I then hear Luke screams coming from up stairs.

I prepare my self to what can happen.

I tense up when I hear Ashley crying and screaming.

Seconds later I hear someone running to the first floor.

When I turn in greeted by Ashley.

"Calum help me." She says.

My eyes couldn't believe what I was watching.

In this moment all I wanted to do was kill Luke for what he did to Ashley.
