1. Confusion

Ashley p.o.v

I felt my heart stop.

My arms shook, and my head hurt.

"Ashley! I'll be back in an hour! I'm going out with some friends!" I hear Luke, my brother scream from downstairs.

I had the rest of the afternoon to myself and the worse is that I didn't have nothing to do.

I grabbed my laptop and went on Twitter.

I then saw a picture of Luke with some friends smoking.

'Chillin with the lads' it said.

I hated the fact that Luke smoked, but he never did it in front of me.

Luke started smoking three years ago when our parents died in a car crash.

It impacted both of us terribly. It impacted us in a way were everything became hopeless for us.

I then heard the door bell ring. I ran downstairs and opened the door. A tall hot guy with dark hair stood in front of me.

"Hello. I'm Luke's friend, Calum. He wanted me to come and pick you up."

Calum p.o.v

"Hey mate! Let's get to know your sister! We've never seen her." Ashton says as he stops playing the drums.

I look up to see Luke kissing Lucy his annoying girlfriend.

"Yeah we all know about her, but never seen her" Michael protest.

"I don't want any of you to know her because I know you horny asses will want her." I look up and give out a small smirk.

I then continue back to playing the bass.

"Do me a favor Calum. Pick her up for me." I nod, I grab my keys and head out.

When I'm outside Luke's house I ring the door bell.

I then see a small skinny girl in front of me. Everything about her is perfect.

"Hello. I'm Luke's friend Calum. He wanted me to come and pick you up." I finally said.

"Why would you come. And not him?" She speaks up.

"He's with his girlfriend." I say.

"More secrets. Great. Come in." I smile and enter the house.

"I'm sorry I so lost my manners. I'm Ashley." I smile and shake her hand.

"Give me ten minutes to get ready please." I nod.

I'm then left alone in the living room.

The walls are covered in pictures of Luke and herself. And some of Luke's parents. I rarely got to see them, but I never saw Ashley until today. In this moment I can't get her out my head. Her smile and just everything about her is perfect.

"I'm ready!" I turn and I'm greeted with Ashley wearing a red fannel and some black skinny jeans with some black vans. Her hair is tied perfectly in a bun and her natural make-up fits perfectly to her face.

Ashley p.o.v

Through the whole ride we were both quiet making the atmosphere extremely awkward.

"Where here." Calum finally speaks up.

I got out his car to see a small black garage with music exploding out of it.

"Follow me." I nod and I follow Calum.

Calum soon opens a door and the smell of weed is the first thing I notice.

My eyes quickly focus on all the guitars and the drum set.

"Hey sissy." I look up to see Luke and a girl beside him.

"This is Lucy my girlfriend." I nod.

"Hello young lady! I'm Ashton the drummer." I smile and shake Ashton's hand.

"Hello. I'm Michael the one with amazing hair style and color." I laugh to this and shake Michael's hand.

I really did like his red hair though.

My eyes then focused on Calum playing the bass, my favorite instrument.

"Alright you all know her now! I'm leaving you slobs!" Luke shouts.

"I want to stay for a while I say. And anyways more time for you to smoke and kiss Lucy." I was angry at him for hiding so many things from me. I wonder how much more stuff he's hiding.

I walk towards Calum and sit next to him in a stool.

"May I help you?" Calum sarcastically says.

"So now you are hitting me with the sarcastic shit. I'm here because I love the bass." Calum then seems to loosen up.

"Sorry. I'm glad you like the bass." Calum says.

"Since when do you play the bass?" I ask.

"Since I was fourteen. You?" I smile. "Ten." I say.

Calum then hands me the bass. I smile and take it in my small hands. I haven't played an instrument for years, but the memory of playing the bass has never left my mind.

I start to play some notes, and I then end up playing one of my song notes.

"That is amazing. Is it a song or?" I then realize that Calum and everyone else were here.

I feel my cheeks start to get hot.

"I- I wrote the song." I say.

"I love it." I feel my cheeks start to get hotter.

"Ashley! Leaving now!" I hear Luke shout. I then turn to see his furious expression.

"I guess I have to go. I'll see you later." I quickly run to Luke.

"What the hell Luke!" I scream as he slams the door of his car.

"I saw you flirting with Calum! And he was flirting with you Ashley!" Anger starts to fill throughout my veins.

"And so what! I'm old enough to flirt!" I shout back.

"You don't know who he is sissy. I know him. So be a good girl and from now on stay away from them. You are never coming back here." Luke whispered.

"What do you mean that you know him?" I ask.

"Sometimes not knowing some stuff is better than knowing it Ashley." Luke then slams on the brakes leaving me with a million questions in my mind.
