14. Not going back

Calum's p.o.v

I'm scared. I'm scared to lose what I have left in my life. Everyone is getting prepared for everything and I just can't even mentally prepare myself.

"Babe. What's wrong?" Ashley asks as she gets on the bed next to me.

"I'm really scared. I want this to be over as well, but I want all of us to be alright by the end." I place my hand in her hips moving her closer to me.

"Calum. Everything is going to be alright. Remember we have it all planned up. I know Aurora is dangerous, but we will finish her." I wish her words calmed me down, but they don't.

"C'mon gets your bags ready we have a two hour drive." I place a kiss in Ashley's forehead and start to pack my bags.

I've killed before. I have. Probably more than ten innocent people. Killing has always been in me. I am dangerous somehow. For the first time ever I feel a bit of my old self come back to me. The bad Calum Thomas Hood. I grab the gun next to my bag , memories strike back. I really hate my old self. If I didn't find Ashley I would probably be dead or a worse person. She gave me what I needed. If it involved to kill anyone to protect Ashley. I am.

Ashley's p.o.v

I can't lie. I'm terrified. We got out guns yesterday and well now everyone is getting ready to leave.

Brianna is Ashton's girlfriend. She's very smart and good with the gun.

Karol is Michael girlfriend. She's very sweet, but good with guns as well.

"Alright. Let's go." We all grab our bags and run to the black van.

We all got in our places and got ready for the two hour drive. Michael and Karol sat together. Brianna and Ashton did as well. Luke was driving and Calum was in the passenger seat with him. I sat alone and I was alright with it. I could have some time to think by myself.

-two hours later-

"Ashton you have a room with Brianna. Michael you do as well with Karol. Sissy your with Calum. I'm by myself." I felt bad that Luke was by himself, but he always liked it that way. As Calum and I entered the hotel room I was surprised with how nice it was for a lonely town. The walls where a light shade of green matching with everything around it. And in the balcony there was a beautiful view of a lake. We placed our things down and then cuddled up in the bed.

Calum was finally the one to break the silence.

"I know you are scared. Even if you want to show your bravery I can see your scared babe." I let my muscles relax.

"I am Calum. I'm so terrified. I just want to fade away you know and just let all of this solve by its self." I felt tears fall down my eyes. Calum kissed my forehead and cuddled closer to me pressing my body to his.

"Tomorrow's the day."

"I don't really want to talk about it. I'm sick of just thinking about that." I feel Calum nod. I burry my head in his neck. Eventually I drift into a sleep.

-next day-

"Guys thank you for everything. Even when it wasn't your problem you still decided to join me. Thanks a lot. I love you all." I really meant all my words. These people are my new family and I love them all so much.

"We will always be here for you Ashy." Brianna says.

"Okay guys we are leaving in three hours. Make sure to have everything ready." Michael says.

"Calum I feel like I can't do this anymore."
"If you are capable of going through all of what you've went im sure you can with this. Remember you have all of us by your side. I would give up my life for you-"

"Calum please don't say that babe." I interrupt. Just thinking about stuff like that made me want to cry my eyes out.

"Sorry. I love you."

"I love you with all my life."

"Forever and always?"

"Forever and always babe."

I wanted to say thanks to everyone who has read my story.

I thought it would be cool to continue this story, so I will.

There will be a sequel. I'm thinking of the name for it so I don't know not yet.
