Hello my favorite people,
Did you guys miss me? I know, I know, I kind of fell off the face of the earth for a while, and I sincerely apologize. The creative juices just haven't been flowing like they used to; however, I have a special announcement/proposal.
As most of you guys know, I wrote "It Started With a Dare" when I was 15 (in 2016). "I Slapped Mr. Popular," came out a year later, and although it is definitely an improvement, I still never felt like it lived up to my true potential of a writer. I was young, and when I reread it, I just feel like it could be 1000 times better.
That being said, I want to get back into writing, and I want to give you guys the best version of Braelyn and Ridge's story I can possibly write. You guys have been there since day one, and you guys deserve the best of the best for all of your continued support over the past nine years of me being a part of the Wattpad community.
Over the next year to year and a half, I will be rewriting "I Slapped Mr. Popular." I will be changing a lot of things/chapters/scenes to make sure it's more mature and fun and all the things you guys deserve. I want to give you the best version of Braelyn and Ridge's story I can while making it a little be more current in the times. I'm twenty-three now, and I believe I can make this book so much more.
By the end of the rewriting process, I will self publish it if you guys love it. I have always wanted to be an author, and it's been my dream to publish a book. I couldn't think of anything better than seeing my book-a book that you all have love and supported throughout the years-on the shelves of a bookstore. I want you to be able to enjoy this story to its full potential and have it on your bookshelves, in your car, in your purses/bags, or wherever you have your books. I just want you to have it.
So, again, thank you guys for your continuous love and support over the past nine years. I have thought about every single one of you over the years. I love seeing your comments and messages and being able to interact with you as you read this story. You guys mean the absolute world to me. I love you all, and please, let me know what you think. 💙
