8: First Night Down

EVAN POV:

"What are these?"

I was in the main Lounge utility room with Ballora familiarising myself with the layout of all the equipment and where it was stored. I needed something to do while I waited for my shift to finish, which wasn't long from now.

And getting a layout for how everything was sorted back here was at least a practical thing I could do while I waited. Plus I'd rather do that than Ballora's suggestion of going upstairs to spend some time with Marionette. While I generally wouldn't mind it, I saw more than I should have during our last interaction.

The picture of her in Black lace lingerie has been sitting in my head since then and I hate myself for it.

Anyway, while I was going through the shelves I found a box filled with what looked like smartwatches. Only they were a Navy Blue colour with a Red band and buttons, and had the Fazbear Entertainment logo etched into the battery housing.

"Ah, those are Fazwatches." Ballora replied from where she was sitting on edge of the main workbench, currently dressed in her performing outfit. Minus the Tutu which was hanging on the corner of the bench. And her waist ribbon which was with the aforementioned Tutu.

"You mean the things that can be bought at the gift shop?" I asked as I grabbed one out. It did look like a blank version of the ones I saw. Those ones had themes based on the main Animatronics at the building.

"Basically yes. Those ones you have there are the Employee versions." Ballora explained as she hopped off the bench and walked over. Before gently grabbing the one from my hand and holding her empty hand out to me, motioning for me to give her my arm. "They operate similarly, but the employee ones have a few unique features."

"Like what?" I asked as she fastened the Fazwatch around my wrist. "Also am I allowed to just take one?"

"Yes, these are just the spare. And all employees get one, usually on their first shift." She answered. "As for the unique features. Depends on your role. Just log in with your employee ID and you should see."

"Hmm..." I hummed as I gave her a quizzical look before shrugging and looking down at the watch. Doing as she said, I input my employee ID number with a little bit of difficulty. And the Screen came online with a set of tabs.

One was labelled, Map. Which was pretty straight forward. It gave me a layout of each floor of the building, with little icons signalling where certain things were. As well as little icons to pinpoint where Anime-tronics were.

The next tab was labelled' Tasks. The name explained itself, and opening the tab showed a single task. Repair Mimi. And opening that task revealed what happened to her, as well as a complete task option which I clicked.

And the third tab was labelled' Animatronics. And opening it came me a list of All the Animatronics as well as their current charge level, and a little online-offline indicator light. It was basically the indicator on the server module but on my wrist, and without those 2 glitched slots.

"There you go." Ballora hummed with a nod and satisfied smile, like she was proud of herself for helping. "Now I'm not well versed in how these things work, due to being an Animatronic and all. But I recall if you select a certain Animatronic, you can send them private alerts."

"Huh." I muttered as I did as she mentioned and selected her. A little menu expanded under her name that had an image of her, Power level, Active status, and a few other bits of info like commission year. And there was an option called Contact under her name.

Selecting it, 2 options popped up. One simply called Alert, and the other called Audio. With curiosity I pressed the Audio option and a little mic icon popped up.
