EVAN POV:
"Now, while I won't be here for the duration of your full shift, I will be here when you start most nights." Willow spoke as she led Lucas and I through the tunnels. "So if you need to inform me of anything while I'm still here, I'll usually be in the Security office in the Utility room."
I nodded along as I followed her, taking mental notes of the information she was telling us. While also trying to resist the urge to kick Lucas in the shin as he walked next to me. It was painfully obvious that he wasn't paying attention to a word Willow was saying, instead focusing on her ass as she walked in front of us.
I myself, outside of resisting the urge to delete Lucas's kneecaps for staring at a married woman's ass, was faintly aware of the near silent giggling I could hear above us. A giggle I was already familiar with, and knew that I may find myself with a stowaway soon.
"Now. We also have the matter of your Fazwatches." Willow said as we entered the lounge utility room. Without slowing down she walked over to the same shelf that I found the box of spare watches last night, and pulled out and handed it to Lucas. "These are basically your nightly task list. All maintenance jobs for the night will be listed there. Just log on with your Employee ID and you're all set."
"These exclusive for higher profile Employees or something?" Lucas asked as he put on the watch, while not so subtly side-eyeing me with a shit eating grin on his face. Yeah I'm not gonna just let him call me useless and get away with it.
Using the guise of readjusting my glasses, I subtly flipped him off as I pushed my glasses up with my middle finger. And to add insult to injury, my sleeve slipped down enough for him to see my own Fazwatch already on my wrist.
"Evan received his Fazwatch when he got called in yesterday." Willow said with a professional tone, while giving me an approving look which Lucas didn't seem to notice. What I got from that was that she didn't like Lucas's attitude either.
"Wait. He was called in?" He asked with a mix of surprise, anger, and jealousy clear in his voice. Before quickly attempting to hide said previous outburst and take on a more professional tone. "Shouldn't the more experienced employees be getting called in?"
"Age doesn't equal experience." Willow replied in a tone that made it sound like she was talking to a child. "Evan has a history with the Company, and experience with these kinds of Animatronics. You on the other hand do not. In fact, if it wasn't for the fact that I need at least 2 Technicians, I wouldn't have hired you. Fazbear Entertainment is very much against hiring people with a Criminal record, as I'm sure you can guess why."
I was taken aback by that last comment as I side-eyed Lucas. This guy had a criminal record? I wasn't sure if I wanted to know why. And judging by the way Lucas's eye was twitching after Willow's comment, she had struck a chord.
"So make no mistake Mr Jaminez." Willow said as her voice took on a firm, threatening tone. "Your history alone puts you on a tight leash here. So if I hear a single complaint about you while you're here, I will not hesitate to fire you. Do I make myself clear?"
"Crystal." Lucas replied with obvious tension. Just looking at him you'd think he would combust or snap. But he was managing to keep his cool somewhat, albeit barely by the look of it. And I didn't miss the slight glare he was sending my way.
I'm gonna be in for a long night with this guy, aren't I.
"Good." Willow said with a simple nod. Before looking back down to the tablet in her hands. "Now. 8 of the girls require work done tonight. Lucas, you have Freya, Bonnie, and Golden. Evan, you have Chica, Foxy, Mangle, Marionette, and Spring."
