Seveeal hours later after the press conference, night had settled over Toronto, the city lights glimmering like stars below.

Rin Nanase stepped out of the elevator and into the darkened executive floor. The soft echo of his footsteps filled the silence. He reached for the switch near the exit — the lights flickered on, casting long shadows across the polished floor.

Something felt off.

As he moved further inside, his gaze caught a figure seated in the corner — a man in a black trench coat, right leg crossed over the left, his face half-hidden in the dim light.

Rin froze, instinctively alert.

“It’s so nice to finally meet you… Dark Knight,” the man said calmly, his voice deep and composed.

Rin frowned. “Dark Knight? I’m not the one wearing a mask.”

The man smirked. “Let’s not play games, Rin. It’s just the two of us here.”

Rin’s tone sharpened. “Who are you?”

“Chizuru didn’t tell you anything about me?”

Rin hesitated. “No…?”

The man sighed faintly. “You should’ve been answering my calls.”

Rin’s eyes widened. “You’re the one who’s been calling me?”

Before he could take another step, a faint shadow shifted near the corner — the man rose from his seat. His presence filled the room like a quiet storm.

“There’s someone who wields a cosmic force,” he began, his voice low but commanding. “Another who can bend time itself… and now, there’s you.”

He took a slow step forward, his eyes locking with Rin’s.

“You really think you’re the only superhero in this world just because you saved Toronto?”

Rin said nothing, his expression steady, though his mind raced.

“I am Azhar Xandar, leader of Generations.”
He paused for a moment, letting the name settle.
“I’ve come to talk to you… about The Revolution Project.”
