INT. HEADMASTER'S OFFICE - DAY
The real world.
Sun shines through the windows.
SUMMER ROSE THE SECOND, HAIL SCHNEE, YING BELLADONNA - XIAO LONG, SHION ZAIDEN, and YORUMI MIDORI are standing around the still sleeping ASHEN PINE and EMI SCHNEE - ARC.
A glowing purple string ties Ashen and Emi together.
SELENE (at MIDORI and SHION): Why are Ashen and Emi still asleep? I thought my nightmare was defeated?
MIDORI: It was, but he got possessed by the nightmare grimm in your nightmare.
SHION: Now, they're fighting his nightmare.
Summer stretches.
SUMMER: I guess we are doing this all over again! Put me into my bro's nightmare.
SELENE: Me to—-
SHION (Cuts off SELENE): You shouldn't. You just got out of your own nightmare.
Shion turns their eyes towards Midori.
SHION (Warns): And according to my apprentice, all you awake right now in the dream the longest.
Shion turns their eyes towards Selene, Summer, Hail and Ying.
SHION (Warns): It would be most dangerous for you to enter his nightmare.
MIDORI: Please. Choose carefully.
INT. SOLAR BOOKSTORE - DAY
In Ashen's nightmare.
A small and cluttered bookstore. Piles of books are scattered about the store and bookshelves are in need of a good cleaning.
NEGATIVE ASHEN is at the front of the store, behind the cash register at the front desk.
Behind the front desk, is an opened door that leads to the back of the store.
Peering his head out from the back doorway is DREAM MR. APOLLO.
DREAM MR. APOLLO, a long dangling neck.
DREAM KASS, her eyes are constantly glowing black and she is picking up books from off the ground.
EMI SCHNEE-ARC enters the bookstore.
NEGATIVE ASHEN: Morning. You must be here for your order.
Emi walks toward the front desk.
EMI (Confusion): Order? N—-
NEGATIVE ASHEN: Let me check.
Negative Ashen ducks under the desk and pops back up from under the desk with a pile of books in his hands.
EMI: Ashen! Where the grimm.
He sets the pile of books down on the front desk. The book at the top of the pile is "The Girl Who Fell Through The World."
Emi looks down at the book, staring longingly.
NEGATIVE ASHEN: There's no grimm around here. Grimm are left to huntsmen and huntresses. A funny feeling is telling me that you really like that book, miss.
Emi smiles.
EMI (Fondly): Across, I do. My dad is in that story, he's the Rusted Knight.
Emi quickly shakes her head.
