Summary: You always greet Draco, but one day you decide not to.

A/N: okay so this book has somehow reached 50K reads and I'm tempted to start an actual book instead of just one shots, or add Pansy to the oneshots.

You had to admit to yourself, you sort of liked Draco, his blonde hair was always beautiful to you and the way he reminded you of the winter, both cold yet comforting.

You were seated next to Draco in Charms, and for a few couple of weeks you had made it a habit to greet him every class without a fail:

"hello Draco!"
"How are you Draco?"
"How's your morning Draco?"

Though his replies were usually cold, and clipped, you continued to greet him every time you had class together, but you realised how dry his replies were and how he rarely even glanced you a look.

You remember speaking with Pansy in your dorm, she said how a boy kept pestering her, he was being kind and all but not getting the hint that she didn't like him. And it suddenly dawned on you what if that was you? What if you were like that boy? Just pestering Draco, being a burden towards him.

That fear suddenly being planted firmly in your head, you decided to stop.

Now you had another class with Draco which was charms, he sat next to you usually because of some seating plan the professor decided on. You walked in and sat next to Draco, you barely glanced at him and you didn't mutter a word to him.

His eyes laid heavily on you, you shifted uncomfortably feeling how his eyes practically interrogated you. He waited for your sweet greeting or a compliment on his robes and how neat they were. He even specifically wore his nice cologne and the cleanest robe he had in order to have a compliment from you, yet you hadn't uttered a word to him?

Confusion lapped Draco, his knee bounced irritatingly underneath the table and his eyebrows furrowed.

The lesson dragged on, every minute felt longer than the last. You could hardly focus as you felt Draco's eyes flicking on you almost every minute that went by. Once the bell rung you collected your things and shifted quickly to leave before any awkward interactions would've been made.

That night you were in your dorm neatly tucked in your bed with your fluffy socks, and muggle hot chocolate that your favourite professor had gave you. Your book was placed comfortably in your lap ready to read, but a rap of knocks had interrupted your soothing peace. You rolled your eyes slipping out of bed carefully.

You walked towards your door and opened it, surprised to see a tall blonde boy standing in front of you. "Draco?" You asked timidly both worried and ecstatic. "How did you get here? This is the girl dormitories!"

Draco rudely placed a hand on the door and shifted it open inviting himself into your dorm, he barely gave the space a glance his eyes stayed put on you, solely focused on you.

"Draco?" You asked again.

"Talk to me" Draco said abruptly, his voice tight with frustration finally seeping through. "You didn't say anything this morning to me in class, you always say something, why not today? Did something happen, do you-" He paused, swallowing hard as he stepped closer. "Do you have a boyfriend who asked you not to talk with me or something?" His usual composure shattering in front of you, revealing vulnerability.

"Draco! What? No! I don't suddenly have a boyfriend, I just thought that I was annoying you with trying to talk to you every morning." Draco looked at you shocked almost bewildered at your accusation, his eyebrows furrowing.

"Annoying me?" Draco repeated, his voice softer this time his features softening.

"You could never annoy me."
