TINA'S POV

My diary...

Pros and cons of being friends with the jocks (Especially Max and Adam)

Pros:

1.     You wanna be famous? They're the ticket to the world of popularity in high school.

2.    They're fun to be with... TO A CERTAIN LIMIT!

3.     All jocks are handsome... Drool-worthy? (Not for me)

4.    You get invited to all the parties. It doesn't matter if the person hosting it likes you or not; you're just invited without any questions asked.

5.    All students—thirsty for popularity, nearly DIE to hang out with you. (Die is an exaggeration... nevertheless, it's true). ((Is that a pro?))

6.    The guys have your back.

Cons:

1.     They're very, very annoying!!!

2.    They can be nasty once you do something to DE-popularize them!

3.    They're too cocky, too overconfident, TOO EVERYTHING!!

4.    They think they're the 'king' of the world. (Can be added with point 3)

5.    From what I've seen- They treat girls like crap. (Take Maria, for example. And NO, I'm not jealous)

6.    They treat other people like crap. They think the geek people, dancing team, nerds are too beneath them.

7.    I believe they're the cause of the bitchy attitude of the cheerleaders.

8.    They're irresistible!!! (I am talking about certain two boys here.) (And yes, that's a big CON)

9.    They are also pretty good liars.

10.  (I'm stopping here. There are too many cons and my hand is paining lol)

"What are you doing here?"

I groaned at the voice and quickly shut my diary and stuffed it unceremoniously in my bag before standing up to look at Max (I called him Maxwell because it seemed to irritate him a lot!)

"What are you doing here?" I retorted and studied him carefully. How was it possible that he looked better day by day? His chocolate brown hair was brushed to the side carelessly and some of the strands fell on his forehead, his black eyes gleamed. My eyes have some serious problem. Or you have finally opened your eyes to other stuff.

He grinned and ran his hand over his hair before perching on the table near my seat. The librarian looked at us nervously as if we had planned something to do here and the nerds were staring at us too. Of course, only a few of the football players hung out here--Max was not one of them.

"Well... Let's see... Someone's deliberately missing their lunch break." Max's eyes twinkled at me with mischief. With lightning speed, his hand pushed inside my open bag and my diary came out.

"Shit, MAX!" I screeched and tried to snatch it back. He just lifted his hand in the air and backed a few feet away from me. I stood on my toes, but his hand was too high for me. Damn my height!
