The smile so fake,
It's all for your sake.
The lies I told,
They had you sold.
Cheery eyes,
So full of lies.
Jokes and grins,
Among my sins.
In my last hour,
Expressions sour.
But before I die,
I'll say goodbye.
Pleasantries forever,
Sad thoughts I'll sever.
Even on sadder days,
The smile always stays.

Almost a poet
PoetryI'm trying my luck at poetry so it'd be great to get some feedback. Keep in mind that these poems are strongly related to depression, anorexia, and things of that sort. If you are recovering, this story is not recommended for you.
