Wrap your blanket tighter,
To feel a warm embrace,
But some things in this world,
You just can't replace.
Pretend it's the same.
Pretend you're alright.
Pretend you're not crying.
Pretend every night.
Forsake your needs,
Even just a hug.
Because you don't matter,
Your only a bug.
Where are they,
To tell you it's not true?
The room is so crowded,
But there's only you.
Just breathe darling,
They're all lies.
You're okay,
Just dry your eyes.
We all love you.
You just need to see.
You're beautiful.
Please believe me.
I wish I could hold you,
And make you forget.
But you're loved so much,
So don't you fret.

Almost a poet
PoetryI'm trying my luck at poetry so it'd be great to get some feedback. Keep in mind that these poems are strongly related to depression, anorexia, and things of that sort. If you are recovering, this story is not recommended for you.
