A moment of silence fell over the room, the only sound was the ragged breathing of Aemond and Floris as they collected themselves. The tension in the air still hung heavily, but it was no longer as sharp and volatile as it had been just moments before.

He looked at her, his eyes flicking over her face, taking in the pain and the anger visible in her expression. He had seen a lot of strong emotions in her before, but there was something different about this display of anger. It was... more raw, more primal. He ran his hand over his face, sighing heavily before finally speaking.

"You should go see Grand Maester," he said, his voice still firm but lacking the usual commanding tone.

"He should check you and the baby. Make sure everything is fine." Aemond watched as her hand moved to her stomach, his expression softening slightly as the reality of the situation set in.

"Good," he said, his voice softer.

"I want to make sure the baby is alright. Go see the Grand Maester. Now." Floris hesitated for a moment, her eyes darting up to meet his. There was a mix of defiance and submission in her gaze, like she was struggling between the fierce desire to fight him and the desperate need to obey. But ultimately the need to ensure the safety of her child won out. She swallowed hard, her shoulders slumping as she nodded again.

Floris made her way to the Grand Maester's chambers, her mind still racing. Her emotions were a mess of fear, anger, and confusion. She felt raw and exposed, her heart still pounding against her chest.

As she reached the Grand Maester's chambers, she knocked softly on the door. After a few moments, the Maester himself opened the door, his usual stern expression on his face.

"Floris," he said quietly.

"What brings you here?" Floris swallowed, her voice coming out slightly shaky as she spoke. Her nerves were still on edge from everything that had happened.
