When Taehyun arrived at the club, he presumed he was first to arrive after briefly searching for Beomgyu. He decided to wait for him at the bar and sits down onto a barstool, letting his eyes roam around. Soon after, he waves at the bartender and orders himself an alcoholic beverage. Then within a mere minute, an attractive young woman approaches him.

"I never seen you here before, are you new?" The woman asks as she perched herself on the empty stool right next to Taehyun.

Taehyun responds to the question with a small chuckle.

"No, this place isn't really my scene."

"Really? Then what is a handsome guy like you doing here in a place like this?" She asked in a teasing tone.

"I'm meeting someone but," Taehyun paused to glance at his phone, "they aren't here yet."

The woman hummed in acknowledgment, a subtle way showing she was listening.

"Such a shame they are making you wait. In the meantime, I can keep you company."

Taehyun shrugs nonchalantly, "sure."

He wasn't here to meet anyone new but he supposed that a small, friendly conversation could help pass the time.

"Your drink looks good, what is it?" She asked, prying with purpose.

"An old fashioned."

She pursed her lips in a pout.

"I'm not a huge fan of bourbon but I'll order one anyway. Care for another round? My treat!"

"You really don't have to," he said as he shook his head, however, smiling graciously.

"You're the most handsome man here so I insist!" She coaxed.

Taehyun takes a moment to reconsider the offer. He wasn't going to turn down a free drink so without mulling over, he carelessly accepts.

"Alright, thank you."

She beamed then happily orders two drinks for both of them.

After the drinks arrive Taehyun immediately raises his glass, signaling for a toast to express his earnestness. She understood the indication and lifts her own glass. The rim of their glasses gently clinked upon contact.
As she sets her glass down, she attentively watches him take a swig of his drink with ease, as if it was simply juice to him. After a moment she reluctantly brings her glass to her lips and takes a sip, suppressing to grimace once she forces herself to swallow the awful liquid. The drink had an unpleasant bitter taste that was difficult for her to endure but she indulged it anyway because she didn't want to seem mundane to him.

They engage in a conversation shortly after. As Taehyun spoke, the woman subtly flickers her gaze from his lips to his eyes, a hint of a smile playing on her face.

She leaned in slightly before her eyes drifted to his lips again, gaze lingering before looking back up to meet his eyes. She's hoping he takes the hint this time.

Meanwhile, Taehyun isn't naive. It's crystal clear that she wants to kiss him.

"Do you want to continue this conversation at my place?" She asked in a sultry voice.

Taehyun gulps nervously, feeling uncomfortable all of a sudden. Maybe he should have realized her intentions sooner, otherwise he wouldn't have been willing to give her any amount of attention.

"I, uh," he stammered, avoiding eye contact. He glances around to formulate an excuse so he can quickly escape from her fierce, expectant eyes and that's when he sees him. He froze at the sight of Beomgyu, dancing with another man in close proximity.
