The silence lingered for a moment as Amy felt a mix of fear and tension while standing in front of Victor, whose mysterious smile never faded. After a moment, Victor confidently said:
"I suppose you know Jack."

Amy was startled and stammered,
"What... He's just... a customer... and came..." Then, trying to regain her composure, she added:
"Whoever you are, how do you know Jack and me?"

Victor chuckled lightly and replied in a calm yet powerful tone:
"You two are the missing pawns in the board of destiny. It was meant for us to meet from the start. As for me, I'm Victor, the master of destiny and the holder of the Book of Power."

He then extended his hand to her with a reassuring smile and said:
"So, would you like to know more, beautiful lady?"

Amy hesitated, tense, but before she could answer, Jack stirred on the ground, struggling to open his eyes. Amy noticed and asked worriedly,
"Sir, are you alright?"

As Jack focused, he saw Victor's face. He quickly got up and lunged at him, shouting angrily:
"Where is my book? Give it back, you thief!"

Victor laughed while lying on the ground and said mockingly:
"I guess the book's effects were quite strong on you."

Victor calmly got up, shoved Jack away forcefully, dusted off his clothes, and straightened his tie before saying with a confident smile:
"Well, won't you follow me?"

He then turned and walked towards an alley.

Amy stood still, hesitating for a moment, but then decided to follow him. When she reached the house he entered, she saw its door ajar. Standing before it, she hesitated while looking into the dimly lit reception room.

Elsewhere, Jack was running after Amy with difficulty, thinking:
"This girl... Why did she help me if she was going to leave me suffering afterward?"

When he saw Amy enter the house and close the door behind her, he yelled angrily while banging on the door:
"Open the door! Give me back my book, you coward!"

Inside the house, Amy felt the heat and said as she took off her jacket:
"It's hot in here..."

Victor smiled and replied:
"This house is equipped with the best artificial intelligence systems. It contains a data processing system that works exactly like the human brain."

Amy heard soft knocks on the wall and asked,
"What about that?"

Victor replied with a smile and a serious expression:
"Between me and it, there's significant work nearing completion. It just needs a little more patience." Then, with a calmer tone, he added:
"And between me and you, there's work as well. If you're willing..."

Amy's hesitation was evident on her face, while Victor's smile remained steady, hiding his true intentions.

The scene ended with Victor's smiling face and Amy's tense expression, as destiny began moving its pieces on the board.

Also, there's significant work between you and me! 😅 To those who view my work but don't vote for it, don't hesitate to complain in the comments about what you don't like! ✍️ But if you have no complaints, then what's wrong? Do you hate me? 😢 (Just kidding 😜). Seriously, though, your support means the world to me! 🌟
