Chapter 6 Coming Around

Today was our last practice before we left for Leaky Con in Orlando. We finally got our songs down pat, and Darren was here practicing with us. We were in the middle of our break.

"I think I'm gonna tell her in Orlando." I said to Darren.

"What?" He said.

"Lauren, I'll ask her on a date or something."

"You should do that, you know get another kiss." I shoved him on the shoulder.

"Yea one that she will remember." I said then Darren shut his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Yep, yep." He said patting me on the shoulder, then walked off to get another bottle of water. Lauren walked up to me.

"So are you excited?" She asked me. With my new plan to ask her out I couldn't wait to get to Orlando.

"Very excited." I said.

"Are you all packed?"

"No."

"Joey! We are leaving tomorrow."

"I know," I said, then an idea popped in my head, "well if your not busy after wards could you come help me? I've never been good at packing." She looked up at me and smiled.

"Will you feed me?" She asked.

"Of course."

"Then yes, anything to get out of the house tonight, Jamie is fixing all green food tonight." She said, I just laughed at her.

I know what your thinking, Joey when did you change your mind about everything. Well it was after last week's practice.

☆Magical Flashback☆

"Joey, you can't keep ignoring, Lauren like this." Darren said to me as we got into my car.

"Darren I used her." I said turning the car on.

"God, Joey no you didn't." Darren said trying not to scream.

"She was drunk and I kissed her back."

"Joey, seriously that is not taking advantage of a person. Taking advantage would be drugging and raping her, and I know you didn't do that." Darren said then took a deep breath. We drove in silence, I thought about what he said. Maybe I didn't take advantage of her.

"You know maybe I didn't, it's natural for someone to kiss back when they are kissed." I said.

"Thank God he is finally making sense." Darren said clapping his hands. "Joey you didn't do anything wrong, all you did was kiss her."

☆Magical Flashback Over☆

Once practice was over I went and told Rosenthal that Lauren was gonna come and help me pack. He understood so he went home with Dylan and Joe. Lauren and I headed out of the building and we got in my car. I turned it on and started driving.

"Well you will be happy to know that I at least got my suite case out of the closet." I told her, she giggled.

"Well that's a start." She said.

"So what do you want to eat?"

"Umm, can't we just pick up burgers, ooo maybe at Burger King." She told me. I turned into to Burr King then we headed straight for my place. Lauren began devouring her burger, while I ate my fries.

"Ibt's souu gooud." She said. I could barely understand her. We pulled up to my apartment. When we got inside. I quickly ate my burger, and Lauren ate her fries. Once we were done we both headed back to my room. My suite case was laying open,and empty on my bed.
