10. Facing the Beast

All Might called your training to a close early that day, just so he could gather some important documents and prepare a case for your grandmother. He knew all about your grandmother's life during her time as an active hero. Not only that, but she held a lot of power in the civilian world too. The (L/n) family was infamous for being loan sharks, especially for those seeking to open up their own offices.

While All Might is the No. 1 hero, and he opened up his own agency by himself, your grandmother still held a lot of power over him. She was one of the Hero Association's biggest sponsors after all.

He sat alone in his apartment, pouring over your records and those belonging to your family. All Might wanted to come up with a legitimate reason for you to go to UA; one that was more credible than "she threatened to expose my true form."

(L/n) (Gm/n) was no dummy. All Might would have to fight tooth and nail for your recommendation.

With an exasperated sigh, he ran a hand through his messy blond hair. He shouldn't have made this deal in the first place.

He continued to look at your profile, lazily reading through your info. Next to your picture was a big red "S," your danger level marker. All Might grimaced at the memory.

It had been an awfully boring day for All Might.

He had just been at a conference at the Hero Association's Fukuoka branch, a rather boring one at that. The hero association had gathered the current top ten heroes to go over the polls, rising villains and whatnot. He had done nothing but revise notes and reports all day, so he was itching to find some crime to fight.

So, when he suddenly got a frantic call about an out of control villain at Shiketsu Arena, he was naturally on the case right away.

'Finally! Some action!' He thought, leaping over the tall buildings of Fukuoka.

The huge domed building came into view, smoke pouring out of a collapsed ceiling panel on top. A crowd of civilians surrounded the outside, murmuring amongst themselves. A couple support heroes kept a perimeter around the entrance, ensuring none of the press got inside.

"HA HA HA! ALL IS FINE! WHY?"

All Might laughed, landing a little ways beyond the perimeter. "BECAUSE I AM HERE!"

"It's All Might!" someone cried.

The crowd erupted in cheers, all of the civilians clamoring to get a look at the No. 1 hero. All might grinned widely.

"Fear not, citizens! I'll have this matter resolved quickly!" All Might announced, leaping onto the dome of the stadium.

He jumped down through the collapsed panel, smoke swirling around him. From there, he dropped into the main section of the arena. From afar, he was able to hear fighting and the rumble of stone. Before he made his way toward the enemy, All Might surveyed the area , taking note of all possible victims and high-risk areas. The smoke around the area made visibility low, but he was able to make out the unconscious forms of the pro-hero Hamster Ball and a hero he recognized as a UA teacher. He quickly dragged them to safety before going deeper into the smoke.

The center of the arena was moderately clear of smoke. All Might could see three heroes in the center fighting against... Something. There was a flash of black coming at the three heroes at all angles. Loud distorted bellowing echoed throughout the arena, sending a chill down All Might's spine.
