Skylar's POV

"They can't just fucking kidnap us!!" I fumed.
"Calm down Sky!" Mari yelled back at me.
"You want me to calm down? I want to go home! I didn't sign up to be fucking dragged to Antartica!" I responded.
"I know, but they just said two month. They'll let us go in two month. Just think positive." Mari said back, now in a calmer voice. I know that they said we're only here for two month, but it just makes no sense.
The rest of our team showed up a couple minutes later, all except Anita and Leo. We're all pretty tense, so nobody really said much. We've been here three days now. Nothing much has happened. They told us, it's our time to get used to the place. There are other teams who live in this housing quarter, but nobody is really friendly because we're all spooked. We wake up in the morning, and then for the rest of the day, you either go hang in the entertainment sector, or you sit in your room all day. And of coarse everyone eats at the cafeteria, each team has it's own table. You can tell by the way the team's name is displayed, floating, on top of the table.
I almost finished the Chinese food I got, and then I saw Leo and Anita walking towards our table.
"Hey look! It's them." I said to the team.
Leo sat next to Brandy and Anita sat next to me.
"Where have you been guys?" Mari asked.
"They were late with my transition papers, so I had to wait a couple days before I could come and join you guys." Leo said excitedly.
"You weren't kidnaped?" I asked him, raising my eyebrow.
"No sorry, but it's because I already been through the all the newbie stuff." He replied.
"Newbie stuff? So, you mean being kidnapped is part of the thing?" I said.
"Yeah pretty much." He smiled.
"Oh, well that's just great." I said sarcastically.
"Wait Anita, is that why you're late too?" Mari asked.
Anita was looking down at the table, she was spacing out.
"Anita!" I said, to get her attention.
"No, I was here from the start." She mumbled.
"Why didn't we see you then?" I asked her.
"I-I don't know." She mumbled again, "I'm tired, I'll see you guys tomorrow." Before I could ask anything else, she left.

Anita's POV

I hate the fact that the old man made me do it. Now, I'm bound to a contract. What else was I supposed to do. If I denied, they would have had their eyes on me for the rest of my life. The worst part is I can't tell anyone, and I have to drop all my contact with Sha. They knew all about my hacking, from the start. But they mentioned nothing about Sha, and my involvement with him. That seemed very strange.
I walked slowly to my room. As I walked, I passed a little sitting area. I caught a sight of familiar green eyes. I turned around to see, and saw Jace standing next to a girl. The girl had short platinum blond hair, and green eyes. They were standing very close to each other. They didn't notice me because they were in a deep conversation. Before they could notice me stalking them, I continued walking for my room.
I don't think that, that girl means anything to Jace. Next time I see Sky, I'll probably mention what I saw.
Once I got to my room, I started to explore my surroundings. The place wasn't that bad. The old man said because I'm an official server of the T.W. Military, I get the normal room. Unlike the rest of the team, except Leo, they got the dorm style rooms.
Before I could flop on my bed, I heard a knock on my door. It irritated me, so I thought maybe if I ignored it the person would leave.
"Anita! It's me Brishen." I heard Brishen yell, as he knocked harder on the door.
I went to open the door. There stood Brishen, he looked worried. I really didn't want to talk to him.
"Yea?" I said.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yes, I'm fine." I replied.
"It doesn't seem like it." He said, as he tried to move closer to me.
"I'm just very tired Brishen, I need some rest." I muttered.
"You don't want company?" He asked. I thought about it, but I just didn't want to be around people even Brishen.
"No, Brishen." I stated. Brishen understood, and so he left.

Mari's POV

"You don't the right to tell me who I can be with, and who I can't!" I yelled at Ben.
"I'm not saying that, I'm just trying to say that people like Andrew don't deserve you!" He yelled back.
"Oh, well a minute ago you obviously said 'Mari, Andrew isn't for you. He is just not your type'. I remember Ben!" I snapped back.
"Ahhh, why can't you just understand!" He fumed back, before he stormed out of my room.
Everything was fine, we were just talking and hanging out. But then he had to ruin the mood! I don't understand, what's his problem?
I thought maybe for a while, being with Ben will distract me from worrying for my mother. Nobody has access to contact their parents because it's part of the training. I hate that because I don't get any news on my mother's health, and what will happen to her. I just hope that her cancer can be still treated.
