Imperial-I class Star Destroyer, Blade

Admiral Cruz looks out the window of his star destroyer towards space, watching cargo and transport shuttles fly through the shield gate covering over the research instillation.

"Anything new from Admiral Gorin?" He asks to a communications officer as the pair of Star Destroyers assigned to defend the station take a defensive position around the shield gate, average protocol.

"Nothing yet, the only remarkable thing recently was an attack on Eadu, the base was mostly destroyed and Director Krennic barely made it out before it went critical."

"The Rebellion likely knows about the Death Stars' existence then. Open communication to Director Krennic and Moff Tarkin." Cruz orders.

"Right away, sir." An officer says.

The figure of Tarkin pops up in hologram, followed by Director Krennic shortly after.

"What is it, Admiral? I hope it is important, we are undergoing the Death Stars' final preparations." Grand Moff Tarkin says.

"I have contacted the both of you because of the recent Eadu attack. I believe it is correlated with the Death Star itself, as Krennic is aware, our science director of the facility was sending information to a defective cargo pilot about the battle station."

"What would that have to do with anything? It was merely an attack on an installation, not correlated with any part of the Death Star." Director Krennic says.

"If the report was correct, a team of Rebel agents was present during the attack, and were likely told by Erso before his death what they need to destroy the Death Star, and if they get the blueprints, it would be disastrous." Cruz notes.

"I am making my way to Scarif now, Admiral. My main reason will be to oversee Galen Erso's designs for any flaws, but I would like you to meet with me on the station to discuss this... issue." Krennic says.

"Of course, director." Cruz says.

Cruz watches past the holograms at Krennics personal shuttle exiting hyperspace, flying toward the shield gate's main hangar, Krennic closing the hologram with Cruz.

"Prepare a shuttle." Cruz orders to a deck officer.

"Is there anything else, Admiral?" Tarkin asks.

"I would simply recommend more support over the Death Star, that will be all." Cruz says, cutting off the message.

A Tie Shuttle exits the Blades' bridge structure, followed by two Tie Fighters from the main hangar, flying down toward the shield gate.

As it lands in the hangar bay, Director Krennic exits a blast door, followed by two Death Troopers to meet Admiral Cruz in the hangar, the escort Tie Fighters flying off as the shuttle lowers down and lands, the door in front of the chassis opening, Cruz exiting.

"Cruz." Krennic greets, shaking the Admirals' hand. "Come, if you are correct, we have much to discuss." He says, walking back through the blast doors through the stations corridors, Cruz following.

He enters an office room, the two Death Troopers escorting him standing on guard outside of the door, Cruz following.

"What insights might you have on the attack on Eadu? Where would you have known of Eadu's existence in the first place?" Krennic says, audibly frustrated.

"One of my communications officers said that a nearby science facility on Eadu was attacked, I assumed it was navy-wide news."

"No. I made sure it was secretive, I didn't want that embarrassment to go public." He says.

"Anyhow, I would suggest you focus on looking at the Death Stars' plans directly, if Galen Erso was the traitor, and the main designer, he would have placed a weakness somewhere aboard the station, somewhere important like a reactor, exhaust port, even a weakness in the main weapon." Cruz says.

"All possible, I was headed here to overview Galens designs, and I suppose he would have made a weakness. I want you to keep your Destroyer in orbit while I look over these plans, if I find something, I will contact you to come down and meet with me on how we can solve it." Krennic says.

"I agree. If Galen told those insurgents of a weakness, they will head here to recover the plans, either by full-scale attach or infiltration." Cruz says.

"If there is a full-scale attack, which is fully possible, I would like you to keep more ships on standby, I do not care what they are." Krennic orders.

"The Monitor and Overseer are already standing by on a nearby world."

"Good, keep them on ready, I will transfer command of the Intimidator and the Presecutor to your command, Admiral Gorin will respond directly to you until otherwise said." Krennic says.

"Good. I suppose we are done here?" Cruz says.

"Yes, I believe we are." Krennic says.
