Rebel Alliance Headquarters

Captain Shack stands aside Admiral Raddus, overlooking a hologram table as the daughter of a famous Imperial Science officer pleads to the Alliance to attack an Imperial installation, hearing her words and thinking back before the Empire.

He opens a holopad of the known defenses of Scarif, being amused by how laxed it was for such an important planet.

"If I may have your attention, attacking Scarif is nowhere near out of the question, the Empire only has two Star Destroyers stationed there along with a relatively underpowered defense station that we could disable with ease and open the planet to ground attacks." Shack says.

"And how long would that take? Who knows what kind of nearby Imperial task forces are ready to jump in and annihilate our fleet?" A Rebel Commander says.

"We need to act now, we have the opportunity to attack an Imperial science instillation and gain insights on dozens of Imperial designs, including this new Death Star!" Admiral Raddus exclaims.

"With the Profundity and Liberation together along with their support fleets, we can overpower the Imperial defenses and raid the facility, maybe even destroy it after we take plans and tapes." Shack says.

"We could also call upon the Liberty to support our attack, this is one of the best opportunities the Rebellion has had in years!" General Dodanna says.

"Cast your votes, this is worth a council referendum." Mon Mothma says.

A few minutes of light conversation and side talking later, the votes come in, seventy-percent in favor of a direct attack, twenty-percent against an attack, and ten percent otherwise.

"It is decided, we will attack Scarif in two hours, we'll see if the Liberty can come to assist us." Mon Mothma says.

Mako stands in the hangar decks of the Liberation, looking out into space from the opened central hangar door, a squadron of prototype A-Wings entering the cruiser and docking.

"This might be one of the biggest battles in the war, you ready for it?" Tempest Leader asks, walking up to Mako.

"Yeah I feel ready, how about you, Jek?" Mako asks.

"Better than ever, I feel like I could take on the whole Empire."

The intercom opens up. "All pilots to starfighters, hyperspace jump in one minute."

"Let's get going, make sure all systems are fully ready and proton torpedoes are stocked, we have a long fight ahead of us." Jek says, walking to a nearby X-Wing as pilots enter the hangar, thrusters and hydraulics revving up as pilots enter fighters.

Mako walks toward his X-Wing, entering and turning on system after system.

The lights in his cockpit go bright as the hangar door begins to close after the last fighters enter, the blue hue of hyperspace barely growing visible as the door shuts.
