Jake’s P.O.V.
And again she just passed out. I didn’t even have to ask her what happened because I knew someone was after her from the tone of her voice. This was getting too much and if it were Venus, she’d better prepare herself. Still in my arms, I carried her into the house when I heard Kyle’s voice.
“What the hell was all that noise for?” its so funny how close Kyle and I are, I mean we fight for the same girl but the hate never seems to grow between us. I didn’t have to answer him, I just simply stared at Morgan in my arms and back to him, and then he knew what I meant. Arguing with him over her wouldn’t help so I just went upstairs to the guest room to lay her down before hearing what Kyle wanted to say.
I guess the bed in the guest room was large enough for her. I tucked her under the sheets and gave her a kiss on the forehead because to me, she didn’t pass out, she just needed a rest from everything that’s happened to her lately and what was to come. After closing her door, just thinking of how peaceful she was right now made my heart ache, all that peace was soon going to fade away. I just headed for my room down the long hallway, shut the door and put some loud music to help me get away from everything. That’s when my door swung open and my music was plugged off.
“what do you want now” I said looking at Venus who was at my table walking over.
“you say it like am a really big bother, huh?. Where is the Jake I used to be friends with as a kid? What has happened to you?”
“No…No. what you mean to say is where is the Jake whom you thought you could date all your life. C’mon Venus, I know your silly ways.” I said sitting up on my bed then she came even closer.
