Dangerous love (incomplete)

chapter 6 part 1

‘What are you doing out here right now, its late’ he asked as he glanced at his watched.

‘Why do you care?’ I asked trying to hide my red eyes

‘Get in’ he said looking away. I couldn’t believe he was offering me a lift.

‘Where are you going to take me?’

Are you that dumb Morgan, where else would I take you considering the fact that I have no interest in you?’ he gave an expression that looked like he regretted what he said when he noticed my eyes under his car light. I couldn’t refuse to let him help me since I had to get home really fast and it was late. I sat on the passenger seat next o him and kept my eyes fixed forward. I didn’t have to explain to him where to drop me since he had dropped Lisa at my place a couple of times when she didn’t want to go home.

‘Fasten your seat belt’ he said as he turned on the engine. The seat belt got stuck and he noticed me struggling with it. ‘be careful with that’. He reached over me to help. His body against mine, I could feel his breath, so warm. He struggled with it and when he pulled it out, it came out so fast that it left him on me. Hs green eyes were fixed on mine. I couldn’t move, he was on me and his hands on my shoulder. I was tempted to touch the six packs I had always wanted to feel but was scared. He ran his fingers through my hair and I felt like I had nerves at the bottom of my hair. a hot flush rose on my cheek and I was blushing. He slowly came closer and closer and our noses touched his gentle lips against mine. It felt like it was only the two of us in the world. A first kiss was to be special but this felt special for some reason and I didn’t want him to stop. I wanted to kiss him forever. He was so gentle with me and held my head to pull me closer to him until he stopped and pulled back breathing hard. I sat up and tried to avoid his eyes. Shock ran through my veins and my blood was boiling underneath my skin. I finally took the belt and fastened it.

Jake looked through the window fro about a minute before he drove off. Non of us spoke until i broke the silence and asked a very wrong question

‘Why break up with Lisa? Why  kiss me like that’ I only spoke out the truth, the kiss was full of love and his gentleness made me feel like he didn’t want to hurt me.

‘I broke up with her fro a reason which is not meant fro your ears’ he said avoiding eye contact.

‘of course I have the right to know because I’m her friend and’- I stopped dead before spilling out what was going on between Lisa and I because of him.

‘Like I said that is none of you business,’ he answered still ignoring my second question. He was now furious. ‘The fact that she is your friend doesn’t mean I have to tell you everything that happens to her. Why don’t you ask her? Girls always bring issues’

‘Jake I just want to know the truth and please answer my second questi’-

‘Can you shut up and don’t even think about arguing with me, Morgan’

‘I’m not trying to Jake, just answer me then ill leave you alone’.

‘Like you said, she’s you friend, go ask her, why are we even talking about Lisa?’ he was now facing me and my eyes were glued on the road. It was always wrong to argue in the e car. I tried to make him stop but he never did. Death was ahead of us, I tanked was approaching and hooting so loud but he kept bubbling and banging on the dashboard

‘Jake….shut up and look in front’ I shouted, it was getting closer. Jake……I sustained it until he managed to shut up and faced forward. I shut my eyes, the torch lights of the tanker filled the car, Jake was shouting as he tried to divert into another road. The next moment, we were on the other side of the road heading for the woods, luckily, we hit a tree that managed to stop the car but destroying it. Smoke rose from the bonnet and filled the air.
