'Hey...happy to see me?' she said moving over to hug Kyle who looked uninterested. I could tell she was a snob. That's when it hit me that I knew her. She was Venus, Jake's cousin. She always visited Jake when young and would find me with him. Despite her being my age mate, she never really liked me and I didn't either, she would steal my toys and hit me when we were kids.
'Jake...you should be happy to see me, especially now that I have very good news for you. We are not cousins. My mom had been lying since she wanted you and I to be close' she had a huge grin on her face but I couldn't understand what it was all for.
'And why that is good news' Jake gave her the I don't care look and in his eyes were that of relief. I don't blame him, he never really liked her that much and she...I bet if not cousins, she could have fallen heads over heels for him.
'Well we're not cousins, so... we can hang out'. She gave him that pleading look that portrayed her as the innocent type which she wasn't. Why would she want to "hang out" with Jake, they always have!
'Jail really did do you some good, didn't it?' Kyle gave a shot laugh, followed by a mocking smile.
'Shut your mouth if you know what's good for you Kyle' he jumped on Kyle, holding him by the throat. This was all so confusing, Venus had been to jail, and Kyle wanted to say something about it again but Jake wont let him!
'Hold on a second, you went to jail? Why' my eyes were questioning, gazing directly at Venus's.
'That reason is not for you to know. What are you even doing here anyway? Jake, what's she doing here?. She turned to Jake, shrugging her shoulders. Jake let go of Kyle who was now coughing persistently. He turned and went upstairs, relief brushed through me knowing that he ignored the stupid slim bitch! She's a freak!
'So, how's life?' Venus out her purse down and sat right next to Kyle who was jerking away from her.
'You haven't told me how you got out. How'd it happen?' Kyle's suspicious eyes scanned the room as if his had never seen them before. Venus gave me a long narrow look that was to make me leave. Without bothering to talk, I got up and headed upstairs before they started whispering. It bothered me to know but for now, I was hungry and needed a shower.
Jake's p.o.v.
I slammed the door behind my back not caring how loud it was. I just wanted to punch everything around me. Venus is back; Morgan has to stay here, especially now that Venus is here and will let the group know about her. Morgan has to understand that she's not only an enemy of Lisa but the groups as well.
They door opened slightly when Morgan walked in. it was impossible to avoid her and her beauty, most of all, controlling myself around her is just difficult, I mean...I want to set myself on her, make her feel like a lady. That's for later because I love and respect her.
'are you ok...um, I can leave if you want me to' her voice was so sweet and tender, her adorable eyes gazing right at me, the pain that she was going to bear because of me hurt me as well, maybe she is better off with a person I don't know and is not in the gang because I am going to hurt her worse than Lisa could have done. Guilt brushed through me and I knew there was no way out, I couldn't let her live alone neither leave my side but one day, I'll have to tell her the truth.
'no...you can stay, as long as you're not going to mention anything about you going home or about Venus's release' I could see the shock in her eyes when her mouth opened and closed again.
'Ok...I hope you've realized that I need clothes, my clothes. I don't know how you're gonna go about that cause I have nothing to wear' she sat down beside me on the bed, staring at the picture we took as kids.
'That's easy, you can use Venus's!' this came out without me thinking about how much they hated each other.
'Errlchk, you kidding me Jake, are you serious. Me, Venus, share something, to top it up, clothes!' I could feel the agitation in her voice they mockingly grinned to annoy the crap out of her which was followed by a deadly serious look from her. I reached out to my wardrobe and got her a long blue-print shirt.
'I'm sure you'll look damn sexy in this, don't worry about shorts, you don't need any, it's long enough'. Now the anger boiling in her was even more as she grabbed the shirt away from me and walked out. I liked her that way, angry, cute, this made her more attractive.
