I sat in the back of a yellow taxi on my way to see Jason in prison. I had a call from the police telling me they were holding him in a cell until they could properly review the situation, or unless someone bailed him out. I know in my heart I'm out of my mind but I'm too much of a caring person not to visit him, even though shit always gets thrown back in my face I'm always there to be a persons rock, I wanted to be Jason's.

I also wanted answers,I must've said something that hit one of his nerves. At the end of the day though, he's the one who lost his shit for no reason.thankfully, my boss hasn't found out about the whole Jason situation yet,I told staff to keep their mouths shut until I had the opportunity to sort things out. The police has the company surrounded just incase anything else like that happens again. My boss really needs to review security measures though because if someone was allowed in who was carrying a gun, I blame no one but them.

I know he's a killer in the eyes of the law but in my eyes, he's a guy who needs the help society isn't offering him people cry for help in many different ways and I believed that this was Jason's. but I was still confused as to why, if as I suspect, he still continues with the life I had case files on, did he get so riled when I brought it up?

The taxi stopped outside of the prison Jason was in, I handed the driver some money before thanking him and getting out. The building was an elephant and I was a mouse as it towered above me, it's plain walls gave no reassurance as I entered the prison. Walking up to the front desk I came face to face with a middle aged male officer, his head snapped up from his computer.

Considering I was faced with law cases everyday i still shat myself as I stood there in the spooky and eerie reception, I had never been to a police station before. Yes, I'd been to court rooms but never a station itself and I can already say I never want to return.

"Name?" The officer spoke bluntly with no expression on his face "Calla Rees, sir. I'm here to visit Jason McCann?"

He nodded, walking around the front desk "I need to do a quick search, if you would rather have a female officer do it I can arrange that. All it is is a pat down." He reassured.

"No that's alright" I smiled, the officer nodded before ordering me to lift my arms to the side, I obliged as his hands danced over my body. I was a little uncomfortable with this but I wanted to get in and see Jason.

"Follow me" the officer waved his hand for me to follow him, my heels began to click on the concrete floor as he led me to a room down a hallway. He held the door open as I entered, looking around me seeing Jason sat there behind a glass window, his fist pressed against the side of his face with a bored look on his face. He sat up straight as I thanked the officer, another officer stood behind Jason with his arms crossed across his chest and a pair of handcuffs which I suspect were Jason's in his palm.

I pulled the chair out that was placed infront of the glass window, Jason smiled warmly, I returned one as we both picked up a black phone that hung on a wall at either side of the window. I pressed it to my ear, it's cold surface imprinting on my skin as I shuffled in my seat making myself more comfortable.

"Why do we have to talk behind this" I asked, tapping on the glass. "I'm a threat to society babe, this is for your safety" Jason chuckled raising his eyebrows.

"Is that what they've drummed into you?"

"Hmm" he nodded, rolling his eyes. " I understand why though, I mean you're a criminal" I spoke, biting my nail waiting for his reaction.

"Real criminals wear suits not cuffs, I shouldn't be in here." Jason defended himself," I mean shit, I've done well up to now. Even you didn't figure me out"

"Oh but I did, aka the reason you flipped your shit and risked me loosing my job. You're so lucky my boss is on vacation for a couple more weeks Jason, cause I swear I'd be dead and not metaphorically either." I paused ,"you can't come in running your mouth and not expect me to run my mouth back. You're a pain in the ass" I joked, shaking my head

Switching the phone to my left hand I watched Jason tap the wooden desk with his free hand,"I need your help"

"With?"

"Getting me out of the shit hole" he replied bluntly, I scoffed sarcastically "to be fair you deserve to be in here, honestly"

"Yeah thanks for the support Calla, don't be a bitch and just listen" Jason shot, my eyes widened for a second. I shuffled in my seat as he edged closer to the glass screen the officers body stiffened as he watch Jason intently," I need you to go to my place, and get my friends to bail me out"

"Why the hell should I go to your house and ask your friends to bail you out? Surly if they wanted you out they would have done it already. Can't you call them?" I questioned, not wanting to get myself involved in the situation even though it was probably already too late for that.

"No, I'm on limited minutes in this place and I wanna save them for when I'm in a certain mood to talk to you...if you know what I'm saying" he flirted, licking his lips while a cheeky grin be game evident on his face. I smirked and shook my head "never gonna happen"

"Aww man" he complained sarcastically, punching the air," come on, do this for me" he pouted. Damnit, he's one of those guys who gives those looks which you can't say no to. I didn't wanna get involved in Jason's dirty work but I wanted to help him "address"

He smiled, looking round at the officer behind him. He turned back to face me, he cupped the speaker of the phone before whispering his address into it," I owe you big time, Rees"

"You do, McCann" I smirked, before nodding towards the officer, I stood up saying a goodbye to Jason before exiting the room that intimidated me with more confidence than what I entered with.
