I would again like to thank all of y'all for taking the time to read this book. I have been really busy with my life lately with my depression and boyfriend and all that stuff. (Yes, I have a boyfriend, and yes, I have depression).

Pretend the girl above in the picture is Rose, okay? Again, thanks so much! I love y'all!

Shit, shit, shit. This wasn't supposed to happen. What do I tell her? How would she react? I could tell a look of fear appeared on my face because I heard Michael snort. I slowly stood up, coughing just a bit, signaling the others to look away. They did as I stood up, walking toward my beautiful girlfriend.

"Rose?" I asked her gently, hearing her hum. "Can we talk in private for a little bit?"

She nodded, letting me gently grab her hand. I walked her over to the bottom of the stairwell, making sure that we were out of ear reach of the boys. I looked into her eyes, seeing hope and love inside them.

"Sweetheart," I began, taking her other hand in mine, raising them to my lips and pressing gentle kisses to my knuckles. She was gonna be so sad.

"Yes, Lukey?" she asked, the hope in her eyes becoming more present on her face.

I squeezed her hands, rubbing my thumbs over her skin. "I know you're going to be upset about this, but I have to go on tour next week," I watched the hope on her face fall, her gaze dropping from mine. "You're not going to like this either, but I have to leave on the day of our date."

"What?" she asked weakly, tears welling up in her eyes. My heart ached a little for her; I hated seeing her like this. It pains me so much to see that smile not on her face.

I tried to reason with her. "I know what you're thinking-"

A tear fell down her cheek. "Why would you leave on the day of our date? Our first date, in fact! Where am I supposed to go while you're out and about in the world? What am I supposed to do with an angry Tyler running around?"

I let go of her hands and cupped her cheeks, wiping away the tears that fall. "You can stay over at Summer's house for a while when we're gone."

She shook her head, her voice unsteady. "Tyler and Nick know where she lives. I'm just not safe without you around, Luke."

An idea popped into my head. "You could come on tour with us."

Tears fell down her cheeks like waterfalls, and I wiped them away with my thumbs. "What would your manager say? Would he even let me? And what about the fans? What happens if they hate me?"

I smiled softly, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. "I will ask my manager if you can, and the fans will love you. They're too kind to be hateful toward anybody we love."

I heard her begin to mutter, "My brother hates-"

I covered her mouth with my hand, giving her a stern look. "Don't you dare finish that sentence, Rose. Nobody hates you. Ashton, Michael, and Calum don't hate you. They like you actually, and I don't hate you; I love you with all of me."

That beautiful smile spread across her lips, bowing her head down as she did so. "You always know what to say to make me feel better." She wrapped her arms around my torso, resting her cheek on my chest.

I brought her body close to me with my arms, putting my chin on top of her head. "I know I do. I guess I have the ability to make people happy."
