I have finally brought Tyler back into the story *laughs evilly*
I know the song She's Kinda Hot has been out for a long time but I'm just gonna keep the lyric video here because that way I can listen to this song whenever I write and edit. :)
Enjoy!

There was silence between the two of us as I drove along the road that took me to my special place. It was a place that no one but me knew about, and I came here to be alone and to think. I wanted Rose to know about this place so she knew that I found peace in my life, which is rare, really.
Rocks of gravel lightly banged against the car, the ground slightly rocking the vehicle. I heard half of me telling me to go back and beat the asshole to death, but the other half is telling me to stay near Rose and comfort her.
I came to a stop near the cliff that lined the ocean, a single tree whose leaves are moving in the gentle breeze. I turned off the car, getting out of the machine and walking toward the edge. I plopped down on the ground, leaning back on my hands. I felt the breeze against the skin of my face as Rose gracefully sat down next to me, looking at me with concern.
"Are you okay, Luke?" she gently asked, taking the hand near her in her hands. "You seem tense."
"How did he find us?" I asked, rather to myself than to Rose. I wanted to go up to the lonely cherry-blossom tree and punch it, but not wanting to scare Rose, I didn't. I didn't want to ruin that beautiful tree either.
Anger bubbled up inside me like steam in a pot. I was like a wild animal, wanting to lash out against its prey; the prey being Tyler. I knew it. I knew he was following us, being the fucking stalker he is.
"Please tell me what's wrong," she pleaded, resting her head on my shoulder, rubbing her thumb against the skin of my hand.
"Everything's just fine, Rose," I told her, turning my head and pressing a firm kiss on her head, the scent of peppermint clouding my sense of smell. "Just...fine..."
"I don't believe you." I chuckled at her, thinking how stubborn she was.
"I'm just thinking about how your asshole of a brother found us at Starbucks. I mean, I covered up your scent with mine. Why didn't that work?"
"Because my peppermint scent is really strong and it can't be covered up by anything." Damn it, Rose.
I threw my hands up in exasperation. "So that's how he found us! Your scent fought its way through mine! Goodness, it's for your protection!"
"I'm sorry!" She giggled, pressing a soft kiss to my lips, making me smile. She pulled away a few seconds later, staring back out at the sea with her green eyes. "What is this place?"
"This is another place where I come to be alone and think about complicated things." Nothing came out of her mouth, so I continued. "Sometimes the lads would make so much noise that it would drive me crazy, so I come here to enjoy the peace and quiet. It's nice here."
"Is there a special meaning to this place?" That spark of happiness had finally lit inside of me, happy to know that she wanted to know more about this place.
I've been hiding lots of stuff for a long period of time in my life, but I think it's the right time to let it flow all out like a river.
