The party was so dull and lame that I regretted inviting him. The host deserved to be whipped because this was a complete failure and flop.
I had received my supplies from Oreva, and this was my cue to leave, but I could not because he was on his way. I had a feeling it would be a wild party, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone. Get my supplies from Oreva and begin to strengthen things with Asher. I could not just change my plans because he said he was close by.
The school was becoming increasingly dangerous to deal with, and I was considering a better solution; clearly, Oreva had one, as he refused to deal with or discuss it at school. I would meet him at random restrooms or parties. So far, there has not been a problem. I had to be twice as vigilant as usual because of that useless blog. Brixford Academy was clearly no longer my territory; the sooner I accepted this, the better.
"If double standards were a person."
I immediately recognized Onome's voice.
I had noticed her constantly swarming around Oreva, and they even entered the party together. I needed no one to tell me that he was her new dealer, which was the perfect reason why she was around him. Knowing Onome so well, she could be very friendly when she desired something so much.
We immediately made eye contact, and she moved closer to me, while I smiled slightly.
"We just reconciled, Sweety. Let us not start." "I said."
We shared a brief moment of silence.
"You know." She licked her lips. "I thought you were one of the people who had my back." Her tone was extremely calm.
"Onome, you know I have always got your back." I rapped.
And that was the honest truth, weirdly I always felt compassionate towards her. She was a hot mess-a massive one at that. Not once or twice have I thought it using her addition story, because it would be a hit for THE EYES.
I knew how far the story would progress. Her mother was a politician, and her father was a prominent businessman. She was also an influencer. Although her Instagram page is still active, it has been dormant for over a year; I was curious why she stopped, as she was consistent. She simply decided to unfollow almost everyone she was following; her followers also decreased, and that was it. But I knew her story would be a hit on THE EYES, especially with B.A POLICE has overshadowed it, I just can't do it, no matter how hard I try.
I could not bring myself to start a scandal with her name. Not like I hadn't thought about doing it, not once or even twice.
"You said you are not dealing anymore." She said.
"To you." I replied bluntly.
"I am struggling, Mac. I am fucking loosing it." She spoke almost in a whisper.
"I know that." I said, pulling a pill from my pocket. "I also know this isn't the remedy." "I said, waving it across her face."
"Please." She begged. She looked like she was going to cry.
