When I read that popular teen actor Makele David and Archdecon Chibuike Igwe's son, Noel Igwe, are fucking each other, my mouth fell open. I was astounded at how quickly this escalated. It was posted on the so-called anti-bullying page, BA Police, and then suddenly every blog in Nigeria was carrying the news; as expected, it was a juicy story after all.

They were doing the most for a blog that claimed to be anti-bullying and anti-bullying-focused.

Today's assembly was one of a kind; it seemed like our director was not ready to let us go so soon. He went on to say that they are looking for those responsible for BA Police and The Eyes, as they have been nothing but a nuisance. He even threatened rustication as a penalty if they did not come forward now. His idea that they would simply leave because he said so was absurd. Whoever they were, and I doubt it was just one person, they had the resources. And if Brixford Academy wanted to find out who was behind it, I believe they had the resources to do so. I honestly believed they had no intention of pushing to find out who was behind the keypad.

The platform claimed to put an end to bullying by calling out bullies, which they did on a few occasions, which was better than THE EYES, which was simply there to mock everyone and make them a laughing stock for a while. THE EYES was also messy because they had brought people's families and private lives to that nasty blog on multiple occasions in order to humiliate them. THE EYES always kept everyone on their toes until BA POLICE came along, at which point THE EYES died down and focused solely on destroying Noel Igwe's reputation. That blog was constantly on Noel Igwe's case, labeling him gay on several occasions.

Imagine our surprise when BA Police not only confirmed everything THE EYES had said, but also mentioned his partner, which was hard to believe. I didn't know Makele David personally, but if there was one person I could vouch for, it was Noel Igwe, someone who was known for dating half of the population of girls in science class, that made Art girls call them, the class of whores. Noel could never be gay.

MAKELE IGWE was trending on blogs, and the things people were saying about him made me wonder how he was handling it, because I could not deal with such humiliation and might have suicidal thoughts. Noel father was the target of some of these trolls, and most people were all about how most of these religious men, like him, act like the salvation of the world, criticizing others while allowing their own children to engage in unholy behavior while attempting to cover it up, rather than practicing what they preach.

I could not imagine humiliating my father in this way; it was terrifying.

Our director also talked about the annual competition. Although I was aware that I would be chosen, I was not going to deny that I did not want to be. It was customary for SS3 students to represent in this competition, and since I was one of the best in my class in the relay race, my name was bound to appear on that list. Swimming or relay race, I expected to see my name in one of those slots. Besides, we have been doing too many extracurricular activities lately.

His intense gaze was fixed on me; he had not looked away since I arrived. As expected, he approached me, pulled a chair, and sat.

It was awkward because Aaliyah was not even there to moderate the conversation, and she kept putting me in awkward situations.
