Taehyung's eyes scanned the cafeteria, his mind somewhere else, as he replayed Jungkook's ominous warning: "This is not over." The words echoed in his head, sending a shiver down his spine. He felt a presence behind him and spun around, half-expecting Jungkook to be standing there, but it was just a student waiting to get by.

Shaking off the feeling of unease, Taehyung spotted an empty table by the window and made his way towards it. He dropped his bag onto the floor and slid into the chair, letting out a soft sigh as he tried to calm his racing thoughts.

Henry, who had been walking alongside him, nodded towards the food counter. "I'll go order for us. The usual?" he asked, already knowing the answer.

Taehyung nodded absently, his gaze drifting out the window as Henry walked off towards the counter. The cafeteria was bustling with students, the sound of chatter and clinking utensils filling the air, but Taehyung's attention was elsewhere.

His mind kept wandering back to Jungkook, their earlier encounter playing on repeat in his head. The way Jungkook had looked at him, the cold calculation in his eyes, it all sent a shiver down Taehyung's spine. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was in over his head, that Jungkook was just waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

As Henry returned with their food, Taehyung forced himself to focus on the present, pushing aside the uneasy feeling that had settled in the pit of his stomach. But he couldn't help sneaking glances around the cafeteria, half-expecting Jungkook to appear.

Taehyung's shoulders slumped as he let out a heavy sigh, feeling the weight of his anxiety bearing down on him. "What am I going to do?" he whispered to himself, his eyes scanning the cafeteria as if searching for an escape route.

Henry, noticing Taehyung's distress, placed a concerned hand on his arm. "Hey, Tae, you okay? You look like you're about to pass out," he said, his voice low and soothing.

Taehyung opened his eyes, and he forced a weak smile. "I'm just...really stressed out, I guess," he said, trying to brush off his concerns.

Henry's expression turned sympathetic. "Do you want to talk about it? Maybe I can help," he offered, his voice gentle.

Taehyung hesitated, unsure of how to share his fears without revealing the complicated situation with Jungkook. He decided to keep his concerns to himself, not wanting to drag Henry into the mess. "It's just school stuff, Henry. I'll be fine," he said, trying to reassure his friend.

TIME SKIPPED.

Taehyung and Henry were completely absorbed in their own little world. They chatted and laughed, joking around like they always did. The tension from earlier seemed to have dissipated, replaced by the easy camaraderie that came with being close friends.

Taehyung, now more relaxed, playfully rolled his eyes as Henry made a silly face at him. "You're such a goofball, Henry," he teased, chuckling.

Henry grinned, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Hey, someone's got to keep things interesting around here," he said, winking at Taehyung.

As they continued to banter back and forth, Taehyung couldn't help but feel grateful for his friend's ability to make him laugh, even on his worst days. For a little while, at least, he was able to forget about Jungkook and the unease that lingered in the back of his mind.

SUDDENLY.

The cafeteria door opened, and Taehyung's entire body froze. His eyes widened as he took in the scene before him. Standing in the doorway, his piercing gaze sweeping the room, was Jungkook. But what caught Taehyung off guard was the girl standing beside him - Jazimine, her bright smile and laughter a stark contrast to the tension that radiated from Jungkook's very presence.
