Taehyung went up to his room, making sure to lock the door behind him. He sat on his bed, and dialed Jungkook's number.
Jungkook's voice was warm and gentle as he answered the call, "hey baby how is your dad? Did he do something to you?
There's a pause before jungkook continued, "tae, is everything alright? you're not worrying about something, are you?" his voice was laced with concern, and he waited patiently for taehyung's response.
Taehyung's voice was laced with worry as he spoke, "kookie, i think my dad suspected something. he didn't say anything, but i can tell because of the way he looks at me."
Jungkook replied, trying to reassure him, "tae, don't worry so much, everything will be fine. and also, try to be on your dad's side, he won't suspect anything." he paused for a moment before continuing, "we'll be more careful, okay? we'll make sure to keep everything between us. you don't have to worry, i'm here for you, always."
Taehyung's voice was barely audible as he whispered, "i love you, kookie." he glanced nervously towards the door, making sure his dad hadn't overheard him.
Jungkook's response was immediate, his voice filled with affection, "i love you more, taehyung." he chuckled softly, "now go and be with your dad, make him laugh, okay? and don't worry, my love, everything will be alright."
TIME SKIPPED.
Taehyung puts on his pyjamas and went downstairs, he sat on the couch, he couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt and nostalgia wash over him. he thought back to the good times he had with his dad, the laughter they shared, the memories they created together. there was a time when he could tell his dad anything, when there were no secrets between them. but now, things were different, taehyung felt like he was living a double life, hiding his true feelings and desires from the one person he was supposed to be able to trust. he thought about jungkook, about the way he made him feel, about the love they shared. and he felt a pang of sadness, knowing that he couldn't share that with his dad.
taehyung's eyes drifted towards a photo album on the coffee table, filled with pictures of him and jin. he smiled wistfully, remembering the happy times. but as he looked at the photos, he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was losing himself, that he was hiding behind a mask of secrets and lies. He went to the kitchen where jin was preparing dinner, and he hugged him from behind ilove you so much dad.
jin's eyes lit up with a warm smile as he felt taehyung's arms wrap around him from behind. he turned off the stove and turned around, embracing his son tightly. "i love you too, tae. so much," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion.
jin held taehyung at arm's length, looking into his eyes with a deep affection. "you know, tae, i've been feeling like we've been drifting apart lately. but moments like these remind me of how much i cherish our bond." he smiled softly. His gaze searched taehyung's face, as if trying to read his thoughts. "is everything okay, tae? you can tell me anything, you know that, right?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.
Taehyung's thoughts, no, i can't tell Dad that i have a boyfriend he will be heartbroken, i need to come up with something. Taehyung forced a smile, nothing dad i just thinking about my birthday that's all.
jin's expression softened, relief washing over his face. "ah, your birthday! i was thinking we could plan something special this year. maybe a big party with your friends?" he suggested, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
Taehyung's forced smile faltered for a moment, before he regained his composure. "yeah, that sounds great, dad. thanks," he replied, trying to sound enthusiastic.
jin nodded, seeming to buy taehyung's explanation. "okay, i'll start making some calls. we'll make it a birthday to remember!" he exclaimed, turning back to the stove to continue cooking dinner.
Taehyung watched his dad, feeling a pang of guilt for lying to him. he knew he couldn't keep his secret hidden forever, but for now, it seemed like the easiest way to avoid hurting his dad.
TIME SKIPPED.
Jin and taehyung they sit on the kitchen table. How's your school going son? jin asked.
Taehyung's eyes darted around the kitchen, his mind racing for a moment before he focused on his dad's question. "it's going well, dad. just the usual stuff," he replied, trying to sound casual.
jin nodded, taking a bite of his dinner. "that's good to hear. and how's your friends? jimin, Jungkook? you guys still hanging out?" he asked.
taehyung's heart skipped a beat as he thought about his friends, and how much he wished he could be honest with his dad about his relationship with jungkook. but he pushed the thought aside, focusing on the conversation at hand. "yeah, we're still closer.
Okay now eat up your food, and go to sleep tomorrow you have school. Jin says.
Taehyung nodded obediently, taking another bite of his dinner. "okay, dad. i'll go to bed soon," he replied, his voice soft and compliant.
jin smiled, his eyes warm with affection. "good boy, tae. i love you so much," he said, reaching out to ruffle taehyung's hair.
Taehyung's heart swelled with emotion as he looked at his dad. he felt a pang of guilt for keeping his secret hidden, but he knew he couldn't reveal the truth just yet. "i love you too, dad," he replied, forcing a smile onto his face.
TIME SKIPPED.
Taehyung went to school, as he walked through the crowded hallways of his school, he scanned the sea of faces for a familiar one. he finally spotted jimin, leaning against a locker, chatting with a group of friends.
taehyung's face broke out into a wide smile and he quickened his pace, weaving through the crowd to reach jimin's side. "hey, min!" he exclaimed, clapping jimin on the back.
jimin turned, a bright smile spreading across his face. "tae! what's up?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
Taehyung pulled Jimin to empty classroom, Jimin you won't believe what happened yesterday.
jimin's eyes sparkled with curiosity as he leaned in, his voice barely above a whisper. "try me, tae. what's going on?"
taehyung took a deep breath, a sly smile spreading across his face. "yesterday, i went to jungkook's house," he whispered, his eyes glinting with excitement.
jimin's eyes went wide, his face lighting up with surprise. "what? how did that happen?" he asked, his voice filled with curiosity.
Yesterday we skipped class, Kookie he suggested that, and i agree with him, Taehyung says with excitement. Sorry i lied to you that i was sick.
jimin's eyes narrowed, a hint of amusement dancing in his gaze. "ah, i knew it! i knew you weren't really sick," he teased, a sly grin spreading across his face.
taehyung chuckled, looking sheepish. "yeah, i'm sorry about that.
jimin's eyes sparkled. "ah, i knew you were up to something! so, what did you and kookie do yesterday?" he asked, a sly grin spreading across his face.
Wait, Jimin says i forget to tell you, your dad comes to my house yesterday, my mom told me, i wasn't at home i was with Coach Suga.
Taehyung's eyes widened in surprise, his face paling slightly. "what? why did he go to your house?" he asked, his voice laced with concern. I remember yesterday he motioned it. But i didn't take it seriously.
jimin shrugged, his expression neutral. "i don't know, but my mom said he seemed really nice. he was asking about you, though," he added, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.
taehyung's mind began racing, wondering what his dad could have been asking about. he felt a pang of anxiety, hoping that his dad hadn't somehow found out about his relationship with jungkook.
