Alastor’s POV

Weddings in Hell weren’t exactly common. Then again, neither was love. Yet here Alastor was, standing at the altar in the grand ballroom of the Hazbin Hotel, wearing a crisp red tuxedo that made him look simultaneously like a devilish gentleman and the world’s most dapper radio host. Both, of course, suited him perfectly.

The room was packed, and for once, not with souls screaming in torment. Instead, a buzzing anticipation filled the air. Charlie had gone all out with the decorations—red and gold banners hung from the high ceilings, candles flickered in eerie yet romantic harmony, and a string quartet of reformed sinners played a hauntingly beautiful melody in the corner. It was nauseatingly perfect.

“Al, stop fidgeting,” Angel Dust hissed from his spot as the best demon. Yes, Angel Dust had insisted on being called the best demon, not the best man, because apparently, “man” was “too boring.”

“I’m not fidgeting,” Alastor said through clenched teeth, adjusting his bow tie for the hundredth time. “I’m… ensuring perfection.”

Angel rolled his eyes. “Sure you are, Mister Radio Nerves. Relax. You’re about to marry the King of Hell. What could possibly go wrong?”

Everything, Alastor thought grimly, but he didn’t say it aloud. Instead, he straightened his spine and took a deep breath. This was Lucifer. His Lucifer. The love of his afterlife. Nothing would go wrong.

The music shifted, a soft yet dramatic crescendo that made every head turn. The doors at the end of the ballroom swung open, and there he was.

Lucifer Morningstar, the King of Hell, the love of Alastor’s life, and the most breathtaking being to ever exist, was walking down the aisle. His attire was a vision—a white suit that shimmered like starlight, accented with gold embroidery that seemed to glow in the flickering candlelight. His hair was styled to perfection, his smile brighter than the fires of Hell itself.

Alastor’s nonexistent heartbeat might have skipped if it could.

Lucifer caught his eye and grinned, the kind of grin that could disarm even the most hardened of souls. Alastor’s nerves melted away, replaced by a warmth he couldn’t quite describe.

“Looking good, Al,” Lucifer said as he reached the altar, his voice low enough for only Alastor to hear.

“You’re not so bad yourself,” Alastor replied, his grin widening.

Charlie stepped forward, taking her place as the officiant. “Alright, everyone! Let’s get this show on the road!” she said, her chipper voice somehow managing to outshine the festive chaos around her.

Alastor tuned out most of the formalities. His attention was solely on Lucifer—his smile, his sparkling eyes, the way he shifted slightly, like he was vibrating with excitement.

“Do you, Alastor the Radio Demon, take Lucifer Morningstar to be your partner in all things, for eternity and beyond?” Charlie asked.

“I do,” Alastor said without hesitation, his voice steady and sure.

“And do you, Lucifer Morningstar, take Alastor the Radio Demon to be your partner in all things, for eternity and beyond?”

Lucifer’s grin grew impossibly wider. “I do.”

“Then by the power vested in me by… well, Hell, I now pronounce you married!” Charlie declared. “You may now kiss the—”

Lucifer didn’t wait for her to finish. He surged forward, grabbing Alastor by the lapels and kissing him like it was the end of the world. The crowd erupted into cheers and whistles, Angel Dust hollering something inappropriate that Alastor would deal with later.

For now, all he cared about was Lucifer—his husband. The King of Hell, the light of his afterlife, and the reason his once-lonely eternity now felt like paradise.
