I think I love you
And I know you love me so
Even if it's platonic love
Leftover from years and years agoPerhaps it's just me
But you're a bit crude sometimes
We chuckle at jokes about profanity
But I never thought you'd make me cryIt's always a joke
For I'm the underdog
And I must play the game
If I want to belongBut oh dear
I act tougher than I am
Your jokes though funny
I don't always understandI must be a wimp
Words should never hurt
But in the light of such offensive things
I'm injured by your wordsI think I may love you
And I know you love me too
So please can we stop pretending
That your humor is only hurtful to you
