Ch 3: A Broken Promise

Roki awoke when he sensed a spike in power. He wasn't disturbed though since he knew that it was only Bulma's dragons balls reacting to Goku's dragon ball that his grandpa had left him. The guardian lazily sat up and rubbed his eyes before observing the scene before him.

"How about a trade? If you give me your dragon ball, I'll give you a little peek," Bulma said as she delicatley lifted the back of her skirt to flash her rear at the sayiin. Goku seemed confused. "Why would I want to look at your dirty old fanny?" Roki couldn't hold in his snickers and laughed himself to the point of a stomach ache. Goku turned to Roki and smiled. "Roki, you're awake!" The boy rushed to his side. Roki made a 'hold on' motion as he laughed a couple more times before turning to his charge. "So what have you been up to while I was asleep?" Roki asked.

Goku suddenly frowned. "Bulma is trying to take grandpa from me!" Goki glared at the girl who was grumbling about dumb kids who didnt know beauty when it hit them in the face. Roki giggled. "I've told you thats not your grandfather Goku, but you should go with her. You need to see more than our little forest if you want to get stronger," the guardian said. Goku seemed hesitant. Roki sighed. "If you go, I'll tell you a bedtime story everynight."

Goku tilted his head in thought before nodding. "Alright then, it's a deal." Goki turned to Bulma and relayed Roki's bargain. "You mean this Roki thing told you all that?" Bulma looked to through the empty space next to Goku and sweatdropped.

Goku stubbornly crossed his arms. "That's our deal. Take it or leave it!" Bulma giggled. "Alright, it's a deal."

Goku inched away from Bulma who attempted to grab him. "Come on Goku, you need a bath!" The blue haired girl began to grow frustrated when the saiyan dodged her. "I told you! Roki and I can take a bath by ourselves!" Bulma finally gave up. "Fine, but dont expect me to save you if you drown!" The girl slammed the door to the bathroom shut.

"I wonder what her problem was," Goku mumbled as he began to undress himself. Roki had already undressed and was fiddling with the knobs to the bath tub. "She can't see me Goku so she thinks you're just refusing her help," the guardian said as he found the perfect temperature for him and his charge. Goku pouted. "How come only I can see you?" Roki stepped into the tub and made a 'come here' motion with his hand.

"Answer my question Roki!" Goku still obeyed the guardian and nestled between the boys legs. Roki grabbd ahold of the detachable shower head and sprayed his charge with water. "Only you can see me Goku. Everything I am, was and still is, dictated by you so only you would know what I look like." Roki grabbed a nearby bottle and squeezed the scented gel onto his hand before running his fingers through his charges filthy hair.

"I don't understand how you can get so dirty Goku," the guardian said as his nails scraped off the crusty dirt on the saiyans scalp. Goku merely hummed and laid back against the others chest. Roki rolled his eyes and pushed Goku underneath the water. The boy struggled and easily overpowered Roki's strength before breaking the waters surface. "W-Why did y-you do that!" Goku coughed as he gasped for air. "It's my turn Goku," the guardian said as he shoved the shower gel into Goki's hands and turned around.

Goku pouted but did the same thing his guardian did to him. The two boys spent the next half hour bathing with Roki scolding Goku whenever the saiyan began to make a mess of water.

Goku shifted uncomfortably. Bulma made him and Roki sleep on the floor. "Turn around Goku," Roki instructed. Goku immediately knew what the boy was going to do and flipped over onto his belly. Roki sat on the boys rear with both feet planted on Goku's sides. The guardian rubbed his hands before slipping them under Goku's shirt and rubbing the saiyans back. Goku melted under Roki's touch and began to subconsiously purr.
