Rokiten felt a small spark of satisfaction when Vegeta seemed in conlifct. The evil saiyan knew Goku would be a major threat. 'If we can buy enough time, Goku will be here in about four minutes...' Roki turned to an unconcious Yamcha who seemed to be long forgotten. The humans body was frozen in time for now but the moment Rokiten disappeared, time would continue. 'Unless his soul returns, I can't do anything else for him. He must not want to continue living if he hasn't returned to his body yet,' Rokiten thought. Without a soul, the body will eventially decompose despite Rokitens effort to save him.
"Piccolo, you've got to run!! I'll hold 'em off somehow until daddy comes!!" Rokiten was brought back to Earth by his charges selfless exclamation. "Don't be ridiculous boy. You can't hold them off alone!" Gohan was taken aback. "I'm not alone, I have Rokiten..." Gohan said as his eyes found his guardians. Piccolo glared at his young student. "OPEN YOUR EYES!! ROKITEN IS ON THE VERGE OF COLLAPSING!!" Piccolo crossed his arms. "Funny, as his charge you should be able to notice when he's in pain," Piccolo said. Rokiten threw a betrayed look at his teacher.
"Don't give me that look, it was either I tell him now or he'll find out the hard way.""ENOUGH!!" Rokiten gathered his stunned charge and quickly leaped out I'm of the way of the incoming blast sent by Nappa who had gotten bored of the display. "You little worms are too mushy for me! How about I just kill you all and get this over with?" Napa turned to the guardian and his charge. "Let's start with you two!" Nappa charged towards the two.
"G-Gohan, just stay down. I can do thi--!" Rokiten was cut off when the half saiyan charged foward and met the evil saiyan half way with a kick to his face. Both Rokiten and Piccolo were shocked at such an action coming from the normally timid boy.
Nappa was sent flying through the air and crashed into a small hill, reducing it to rubble. Rokiten couldn't stop from curling in on himself when the burly saiyans Chi skyrocketed. Nappa had leapt out of the rubble and was furious. "I'VE HAD ENOUGH OFF THIS!! DIE!!" he yelled. A powerful blast erupted from is hands and was shot straight towards Gohan.'This is going to be painful...' Rokiten thought as he immediately shoved a panicked Gohan behind him and prepared for impact. His body glowed an array of silver as he prepared to use the last of his energy to shield his charge.
A flash of green and shout of pain later left him in shock before the light died down. When the smoke cleared, Piccolo gave them the shaky command to run before collapsing. Rokiten was wide eyed in disbelief and it wasn't until his charge shakily shook their deceased teacher that he let out a cry of anguish. "PICCOLO!!" Rokiten screamed. Tears streamed down his face as he sunk to his hands and knees. To the onlookers it would seem lightly comical for the guardian to be crying instead of his widely emotional charge, but right now the guardian was absorbing his charges emotions. Gohan didn't need to feel the pain of loosing someone a second time and Rokiten was all too familiar with the feeling. After all, the phantom feeling of having his heart ripped out wasn't foreign to him in the least.-0-
Miles away Goku faltered in his flight. A surge of pure sorrow charged through the bond he shared with the person in his memories. Tears were forcibly ripped from his eyes and the saiyan let them fall. It wasn't much but he hoped this would ease the pain his other half was going through.
A few moments later he sensed the fading of a familiar Chi. "Someone's dying..!!" Goku now understood why his other half was filled with grief. He sped up his pace and went impossibly faster when the Chi disappeared. More tears streamed down his face and the feeling of having his heart torn intensified. "I need to hurry!!"

For once in his entire existence, Rokiten ignored his charge and numbly crawled towards his fallen teacher. Out of the corner of his eye he could see Gohan begin to shake until he suddenly let out a roar of anguish. Rokiten paid this no mind as he cupped the namekains cold cheeks and lightly patted them. "...wake up..." he said through a clentched throat. His form began to flicker as the last of his power was zapped from his body. Pain wracked through his skull and his bloodshot eyes snapped open. His body moved on it's own accord when his charges form collapsed.
Faster than the blink of an eye, Rokiten was immediately crouching over Gohan with one arm secure around the boys waist and another shooting a furious mixture of the last of his power at the evil saiyan.
Nappa roared as he was sent flying a good couple yards away.
Rokiten let out a pained gasped as his eyes grew heavy and he fell forward. The last thing he saw was a flash of orange before he was pulled deep within his charges mind.

The first thing that Goku thought when he finally made it to the battlefield was how odd it was that all he could see was pain. Killin and Gohan bore relieve expressions as he sped past the burly saiyan and knelt besides them. They were obviously pained but that wasn't were the feeling was coming from. He gave them each half a senzu bean and his suspicions were correct as they stood with renewed energy.
He turned to his son and despite the boy having no injuries, waves of despair roles off the boys form. Goku remembered seeing a form crouched over his son, but he was so far away, he couldn't make out who or what it was.
He he scanned the area and could only see the two enemies and fallen bodies of his friends. "Gohan?" The half saiyan reveled in the sound of his father's voice. "Yes daddy?" Goku turned his pained eyes to his son and Gohan gasped. They looked exactly similar to his guardians eyes. "Was there someone else here with you guys?" Goku saw the way Gohan bit his lip in uncertainty. "Y-Yes, but I can't tell you anything about them..." he admitted. Goku suddenly smiled and patted his sons head. "That's alright. But just so you know..." Goku kneeled before his son and took the boys chin in his hand. He smirked when he saw a barely visible spark of recognition in the depths of the boys eyes. "I'm going to remember everything...weather you like it or not," Goku said. He released his sons with a pinch to the boys cheeks and ordered them to leave.
Gohan and Krillin watched with baited breath as Goku effortlessly faced off against Nappa. "We...we should go Gohan." Krillin urged Gohan to follow and the two took to the skies. Gohan stole one last glance at his father before focusing on his flight. "So...how did it feel seeing daddy again?" Rokiten form faded into existence besides his charge however he looked slightly different. He increased slightly in height and gained a a few pounds of muscle yet kept his slim look. His hair was visibly longer
but was still kept in a high ponytail and his eyes appeared slightly sharper although not by much. The guardian pouted and turned multicolored eyes to his charge. One eye was a pinkish orange and the other was a fire red."I swear, I remember where you get your stubbornness from..." Rokiten frowned as he examined his hands. Red Chi was crackling over the palms of his hand. 'That idiot forced his own Chi into Gohan...and knew I would recieve it..."
