Cato bit back a sharp reply. Oh yay, the genius here has a plan, he thought bitterly. Whatever plan the other guy conceived, Cato would have to go with it.

" Well? Get on with it! " Cato snapped. The other guys eyes were strained.

" You're not gonna like it. " the guy said.

" Since when have I ever liked anything  you've done so far? "

" Just don't talk and play along with everything I say. Remember, you're deaf. "

" What?! "

" Shh! They're here! "

Cato stopped talking, looking at the officers. Forgive me brother. I have failed you.  He wanted to fight, that was the only thing he knew to do. He stopped himself from running as the officer roughly pushed him down and cuffed his hands. A much bigger officer kicked the other guy from behind, cuffing his hands too. We are so screwed. Cato limped up as the officer yanked him. The other guy stood up, looking at Cato mischievously, and his head was roughly yanked forward. Cato took a deep breath, preparing to do whatever the guy had planned.

" You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You will be offered an attorney-" the officer read them their rights, but was interrupted by the other guy.

" Stuffed chicken legs. " the guy said. An officer slammed the butt of his rifle onto the guys face, and he groaned. When the guy looked up again, there was a line of blood on his nose and a bruise on his face. Why does he try so hard to get killed? They were led out of the mansion, and taken into the garden, where a helicopter was waiting with a bomb extraction squad and multiple officers. Cato had never seen a helicopter, but he knew that once you got inside, it only meant pain and torture. Especially when the rich commandeered the police forces and pretty much everything else. Cato looked at the other guy, who smiled painfully. As they neared the helicopter, the guy did the stupidest thing ever. He reared his head back, smacking the officer behind him on his nose. Cato was quick to react, he kicked back, hitting his guard on the knee. With their hands still cuffed, they swung their arms at full force, going on the offense. Cato heard gunshots, and panicked, ducking under the helicopter. The other guy didn't move in time, and was surrounded by officers, aiming at his chest.

" Shoot me! Come on! You'll all blow up! Go ahead! " he yelled defiantly. The officers backed down fearfully, and attacked him with deadly blows. Cato saw his chance to escape. All the officers were focused on the guy, and Cato bolted from under the helicopter. He heard someone yell for him to stop, but he payed no heed. He ran straight out of the house , and scaled the fence in two leaps. He landed on his feet running. He had no idea where to go, and didn't even stop to admire the beautiful architecture that he only heard in stories about. He ran down the only road, and saw the lights of the watchtower. He felt a little guilty about leaving the blue eyed guy alone to the mercy of the officers. But he had to get home to his brother. Besides, he could have gotten you killed. He put you in danger.  He gave himself reasons why he shouldn't go back. But he saved your life, a small part of his mind ventured. Shaking himself, he ran faster as he neared the main gate. He heard the sound of the helicopter raising into the air. He braced himself to fight his way out of the main gates, but stopped cold in his tracks. Scattered at the foot of the gates were the bodies of the guards. He was on high alert as he crawled to the bodies. He checked them for pulse, and found none. They all had knife marks and something that looked like a ninja star. He shuddered. Whoever could disarm five fully armed guards and kill them so quietly was someone to be feared. Leaving the bodies behind, he exited the main gates.

Cody coughed as an officer slugged his stomach, making him fall to his knees. Another officer kicked the side of his stomach and Cody fell over, groaning as he tried to breathe. So much for helping that guy, he thought bitterly. He was on his back, coughing little drops of blood, when he saw a figure scaling the roof of the mansion. Maybe it's Satan come to take me to hell. He knew he was hallucinating. The officers had figured out that it wasn't really a bomb taped to his chest. Just a couple of tin cans, tape recording and a broken clock. Now they were beating him up, and his partner had abandoned him. He spit blood as someone kicked his stomach again. The officers weren't supposed to abuse the criminals, but they didn't care. No one did. No rich person ever follows the rules. He looked at the stars, becoming numb to the pain, but gasped when he saw the officer that had been kicking him fall over onto his side like a rag doll. Cody struggled to sit up, not sure of what just happened. Suddenly, another guard dropped. Zip! zip! zip!  Cody heard the air whistle as some sort of a object flew with deadly accuracy, taking down three more officers. Suddenly, a lone figure emerged from the shadows, almost materializing from thin air. He was very well built, and dressed in a jet black cloak. His face was covered with a hood, and strapped to his side was a black sword. Uhh...? What the hell? Then another, more slender figure dropped down beside him. She was dressed very similarly, except her cloak was dark red, and she had a silver sword. Her face was visible in the moonlight. She had tan skin, black hair set in a high ponytail, and a scar running down her neck. What the bloody hell? Is this really happening?

An officer charged at the hooded figure, but the hood guy whipped out his hand and raw current actually shot out of his fingers. Cody fainted right then and there. The girl stalked over to Cody, making sure his unconscious body still had a pulse. The hooded figure quickly finished off the remaining guards.

" Kyle.. We have to go now. " the girl said
