Kash drew a sharp intake of breath, trying to look into his eyes, trying to see if he was joking. Ian stared at her blankly.

" You don't..... remember anything ? " she asked hoarsely. He shook his head, confused.

" No offense, but who are you? Where did you bring me? Why can't I remember anything? What did you do to me? Why - " he was rambling on, when Zia interrupted them. She placed a small hand on Kash's shoulder, and whispered in her ear, " He'll be alright. He just hasn't recovered yet. "

" How can you be so sure? " Kash whispered, feeling herself break.

" C'mon. " Zia answered, and gently pulled Kash away. Kash walked out, sagging. Aaron was about to make a joke, but stopped himself, concern washed over his face. Kyle was pacing the floor, and watched Kash wearily. Zia ordered them around the table, and began talking.

"We don't know where we are, or what we're doing here. We also can't just sit here. Luke is missing. Something happened to Ian.  We need to stock up on supplies, and tonight we're getting out of here."

" I'm afraid that won't be necessary. "

A deep, ancient voice resounded across the walls. Everyone turned to find the source of the voice. A tall figure was approaching them. He was clad in a maroon toga, that draped across his wide shoulders. He walked with an air of authority, his head held high in dignity. His black hair was cropped short, and his eyes. Oh my god, his eyes. His eyes were like that of a nebula, dark black, so dark it almost looked purple, and a galaxy swirling amid the black. Kash could feel her knees wobbling from his powerful gaze. He came to a stop before them, looking at each one individually.

" Welcome, children. " he spoke in his deep baritone voice. Kash gulped.

" I know you. From.....somewhere. " Aaron squeaked.

The mans eyes trailed over to Aaron, but Aaron held his gaze.

" I believe you do, son. " he said, with a half-hearted smile.

" You-you're the guy. From my head! " Aaron said with sudden realization. Kash looked at him. He has imaginary friends?  The man chuckled, easing the tension. No one spoke for a while, but Zia interrupted the silence.

" Who are you? Where did you bring us? " she asked.

" Ahh, asking the important questions are we? Child, ask you friend. He knows who I am. "

Zia turned to Aaron.

" Who is he, Aaron? " she asked, voice tight.

" He- he's Mars. " Aaron replied, still looking in awe at the powerful man before them.

Kyle narrowed his eyes in confusion.  "Dude. He doesn't look like a planet to me. "

At that comment, the man let out a loose laugh. The sound resonated within Kash's chest.

" Ah, son. The planet was named after me. It..... represents me. " the man said.

" So, you're really here? Why are we here? " Aaron asked, scratching his head.

" Yes, I am really here. Get ready, children. It is about time you meet the others. "

Aaron was completely in awe. He'd never seen someone so powerful before. He wanted to be like that man. When he realized that the man-Mars- was the same one that spoke in his head back on Pandora, he felt honored. With these thoughts swirling in his mind, he frantically took a shower, washing all the dirt and grit off his body. He roughly dried himself and put on the pair of clothes layed out on the bed. He looked in the mirror, adjusting his black shirt and white pants. The shirt hung close to his chest, and the white jeans almost looked like leggings. I look like a girl with these pants. He ran his fingers through his hair, combing it out and trying to look presentable for Mars. He rushed out of the room, only to find no one ready yet. He groaned in frustration, and  plopped down on the table with the food. He started chewing on a bread stick, waiting for the others. Soon, one by one, the others came out. Kyle was wearing the same black shirt and white jeans. Hmm..... is this like a uniform?  Then came the girls. Their uniform was different, although the same colors. Their shirts were white, and their tight fit jeans were black. Surprisingly, everyone had decided to take a shower. Kash had her hair hanging loose on her shoulders, while Zia had already braided her hair down her shoulder. They hastily ate the food, and no sooner had they finished, when Mars appeared again. Aaron straightened up, trying to make an impression.

" I see you are all ready. Good. Come with me. " Mars announced.

" What about Ian, sir? " Kash asked. Aaron groaned inwardly.

" He will be sent to the another place. To help him.. recover. " the god answered.

" What happened to him? "

" I'll explain later. Now, come with me. " he said.

He led them through the great marble halls, huge windows letting in light. Through the windows the saw beautiful scenery. Grassy fields ran out in all directions, a gorgeous lake flowing through the middle. Tall trees of all variety, apple, banyan, mango and many other fruits they've never seen. Multicolored birds zipped past the windows, and the overall scene was so lovely it made Aaron's chest ache. He longed to go out and run until his feet hurt, swim until his body was exhausted and sit in a tree all evening. Too late, he didn't realize the group had stopped, and he slammed into Kash. She whipped around, and looked at him, ticked off.

" Watch where you're going. " she hissed. He was a little hurt, but he played it off with a joke.

" Hey, you've done it to me twice, back when you first came. " he said, raising his hands in surrender. She smirked and turned back around. He looked at why they had stopped. They were a few feet from the biggest doors Aaron had ever seen. The soared above the group like skyscrapers, majestic marble and gold designs on its smooth obsidian surface. The doors seemed to tell a story of their own, beautiful carvings showing wars and scenes from hundreds of years ago. Aaron was speechless for the first time. Mars stood before the group.

" You are now about to meet the others. Bow down when you enter the room, and don't speak unless spoken to. " he warned. Aaron's stomach churned, and he felt his heart speed up in anticipation. Mars put his hands on the doors, and light seeped out of his palm. The red light went into the carvings on the doors, bringing them to life. Mars closed his eyes and spoke something in Latin. The heavy doors creaked as they opened, and Mars led the group in. Aaron gasped. 30 foot tall Roman style collums held up the giant marble dome ceiling. The floor was so life like, it resembled the clouds. That's when he realized that, those were clouds. The floor was just glass. His heart soared to dangerous levels, and he fidgeted, unable to keep in his excitement. In the shape of a horseshoe in front of them, there were tall majestic thrones, each one styled differently. Mars walked up and took his place on a fierce red throne. That's when Aaron thought he would faint. Seated on the thrones, almost 10 feet tall, were the most powerful other worldly beings Aaron had ever laid eyes upon. Men and women alike sat gracefully on the thrones, radiating an ancient power unknown to him. He subconsciously bowed down, and the others followed without question. The biggest throne was directly in the center, and was the most majestic. It was the only pure white throne, with sky blue designs running up the sides of the throne. Aaron was deeply awed. The man sitting atop it radiated more power than anyone else in the room. His dark blue eyes, were thunderstorms. Literally. His grey hair was the color of a stormy sky, and his toga was pure white, with more sky blue designs. Aaron realized his mouth was open and shut it. He'd never felt so affected by another beings presence. Just the gaze of all these people made his lungs hurt. Then the powerful man in the center spoke, loud and clear, in a deep. ancient voice.

" Welcome, Children. "
