"Harry?"

Stepping into the house, the lights in both the living room and the kitchen are off, however, I'm immediately met with the smell of spices. It's clear that Harry has been cooking since I've been gone, but I don't hear any noise coming from this part of the house. I quickly place my keys down and hang my purse up on the hook by the door before slipping out of my shoes.

I head down the hallway towards my room, but I stop when I hear the sound of the shower running. Doing my best not to get too worked up, knowing very well that Harry could just be rinsing off the day, I walk to stand in front of the bathroom door. Just as I lift my fist to knock, the sound of the shower shuts off, and I breathe out a sigh of relief knowing that he's mobile - visions of him laying on the bathroom floor in the venue of the last show that I played having filled my mind.

Not wanting to startle Harry by any means, I head into my bedroom and sit down on the side of my bed. I pull my phone out of my pocket, and I see that Valerie has already emailed me a lot of what we went over at the meeting. I've decided that tomorrow is when I'll deal with getting everything that she wants from me organized. For now, I just want to enjoy the evening with Harry given that today was a lot.

When I hear the door to the bathroom opening, I look over and see Harry walking out with his hair pulled back into a bun - tight black jeans hugging his long legs. His chin is tucked to his chest as he does up the buttons of his black dress shirt that has a very faint floral design printed across it. As he makes his way back into the bedroom, he jumps for a moment when he sees me, and his arms drop by his side. He's only done his shirt up just enough so that his swallows are still perfectly on his display.

"You're home earlier than I expected," he states with a frown etched on his features.

I raise an eyebrow as I push myself off the bed. "I texted you that I was on my way home. I can...I can leave if you-"

"No," Harry shakes his head as he makes his way over to me, and he cups my face in his palms. "That's my fault. I left my phone in here by accident when I went to take a shower. I'm more than happy that you're home, I just wanted to have everything ready to surprise you."

"Surprise me?" I huff out a soft laugh as I bring one of my hands up to caress his forearm.

"Mhmm," he hums while leaning in to press a kiss against my forehead. "Follow me."

Harry captures my hand in his, and he laces our fingers together as we head out of the bedroom down the hall. Once he leads me into the dining room, I can't help the gasp that leaves my lips when I see he's set the table beautifully with candles and flower petals. I look over to him, and he chuckles when he sees how wide my eyes are.

"Called Kailey once you left and asked if she could buy me a crazy amount of candles and some flowers. I just got everything straight before I got in the shower."
