Lola didn't come to calculus today and that made Michael sad, he wanted to see the look on her face once he revealed the bag of Starburst. He thought maybe he could give it to her at lunch, you know- when the others aren't looking but she didn't show at lunch either.

"I wonder where Lola is" Luke spoke looking around the cafeteria. Michael was beginning to like having Lola sit with them, usually she'd talk about something girly like Teen Wolf  but he still enjoyed her company.

Ashton looked up from his phone "Oh yeah, I didn't even noticed".

'Yeah right' Michael thought.

Luke scoffed "Yeah Right, you're probably worried out your mind".

He furrowed his eyebrows whilst looking over to Luke "Dude, what are you talking about?".

"You're a great catch" Luke mocked Ashton from the other day. Michael rolled his eyes, it really did bother him. He didn't know exactly why, but when Ashton complimented Lola his stomach felt funny. He wasn't jealous though, Michael Clifford didn't like Lola- so therefore he wasn't jealous. At least that's what he told himself.

"I was being nice" Ashton defended looking wildly at Luke who only rolled his eyes in response.

"Hey" Calum joined, sitting down his tray of a cheese burger and chips. "Ashton" he started "Why do you look constipated?".

Luke chuckled "Because he doesn't want to admit he has a crush on Lola" he teased sticking his tongue out at the annoyed boy.

"Calum please tell Luke I don't like Lola" Ashton gestured, Calum shrugged "I dunno man, I see you stare at her sometimes in French".

Ashton groaned, placing his face in his hands.

"Speaking of Lola" Calum started looking around the cafeteria "Where is she?". Luke shrugged as he bit into his burrito.

Michael soon grown to began worried, aside from the fact Ashtons possible crush on Lola was true he just wanted to know if she was okay. He knew about her eating habits, the way she only took two small items from the cafeteria for lunch despite all the options given to her. He also noticed how slow she ate, it literally took her five minutes to finish something as small as half of an apple- and between each bite she has four big gulps of water.

His thoughts ran wild, as far out as thinking maybe she passed out from lack of nutrients or something.

But Michael tried to do what he did best by not caring.

Lola sighed as she flipped through the channels, nothing interesting was on besides Jerry Springer but she wasn't in the mood to watch idiots yell at each other about who's the baby daddy.

She lied to her mom about not feeling well today, but her mom didn't seem to care because as a reply to the thought out excuse of why she couldn't go to school was a simple 'okay, gotta go, make sure to feed Dustin. Love you'. There wasn't any questioning behind the sudden change in well being, she didn't even feel her forehead just to check if she was lying. Sometimes she wished she had a parent who grounded her or took away her tv privileges or something- but instead she got a mom who goes to work then goes out drinking.

A knock on the door interrupted her channel flipping, she sighed again and took a quick glance at Dustin who was sound asleep in his play pin before answering the door.

To her surprise there stood an emotionless Michael with a bag of Starburst in his hand.

"Oh hey Michael" she slowly spoke a little taken back by his being here. "Um, wanna come in?" She questioned, he stepped into the home without replying and stood awkwardly by the door way.
