"Michael" Lola whispered eyeing the boy sitting beside her "Why are you ignoring me".
He looked forward, ignoring the girl begging for his attention. He felt bad for ignoring her, but Michael couldn't tell her his problems and she was the only one he wanted to tell. He knew once she knew everything bad, everything good they once had would come to an end.
"Michael please talk to me" Lola begged, looking worryingly at him.
Her face began to heat up, she thought he actually liked her. Obviously he didn't, but of course Lola wasn't going to let him just ignore her. She didn't do it when they met each other, and she isn't going to do it now.
"Please don't tell me you stopped talking again, please" water began forming at her eyes.
Michael hesitantly looked over, his heart aching at the sight of the girl nearly in tears.
He sighed and looked forward again "I didn't stop talking".
Lola breathed out, it felt like 100 pounds were just lifted off her shoulders.
"So why are you ignoring me" she furrowed her eyebrows.
Michael sighed again "You see that girl, with the long brown hair?" He pointed at the person.
"Jessica? What about her".
"She cuts, did you know that?" He looked back at Lola who had a shocked expression on her face.
She slowly shook her head, lips slightly parted as she now scanned the bracelet covered wrists on the girl.
"She didn't want you to know".
Lola grew confused "Then how did you know?".
"Why do you think she wears so many bracelets or pulls down her sweater sleeves when she talks in front of the class?" He questioned, patiently awaiting for Lolas answer.
Lola shrugged, she always just assumed Jessica was a shy girl.
"Why are you telling me this?".
"That's a secret she didn't want you knowing, but now that you do. Your opinion about her changed didn't it?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Well yeah but-".
"I have a secret I don't want you knowing Lola" he looked back ahead at the teacher going on about something he didn't care to understand.
Lola sighed and fixed her position in her seat, following Michaels gaze to the front of the class.
"But the thing is Michael, I know your secret".
His eyes widened at her, she knew his secret? How could she possibly have found out?
Michael began to panic at the thought of Lola knowing about his past. If she really knew why doesn't she hate him? Michael came up with hundreds of questions as to how and why and who told her.

"Who told Lola" Michael slammed his hand onto the lunch table filled with his three friends. They all looked wildly at him, except Luke who had already knew about him talking. To Ashton and Calum it seemed like they never heard the voice of their childhood friend before. It was foreign, non-existent almost.
"Look who's talking" Luke smirked, finishing down the salty handful of fries.
Michael rolled his eyes "Shut up Luke".
He sat down at the table, his usual bench across from Luke and beside Ashton and Calum.
"Seriously who told Lola" he looked back and forth between each of the boys stuffing their face with food.
"I did" Luke confessed.
"Why" Michael questioned, anger beginning to boil through his veins. He couldn't believe that one of his closest friends would betray him like that.
Luke rolled his eyes "She doesn't know everything, just that you dated a chick who drowned" he shrugged after his statement.
"Cassidy isn't - wasn't some chick and why would you even tell her that?" He narrowed his gaze on the blonde boy.
"She wanted to know" he shrugged.
"When did you start talking again exactly?" Calum asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Better yet, when did you ask Lola out?"Ashton questioned, the same expression written on his face.
"Ashton can we put your thing for Lola aside for once" Luke rolled his eyes, stuffing four more fries into his mouth.
Michaels eyes widened at the figure walking their way, "Don't mention a thing to Lola" he whispered eyeing the other boys.
"Hey guys" Lola smiled.
"Hey" they all replied, acting normally.
Short because long next chapter and you'll probably get to see into the house of Michael Clifford ;)
