Football Game (Grayson)

Your POV
"Touchdown!" A lot of people, including myself, yelled as Grayson ran through three huge guys on the other team and into the end zone.

I was cheering in Grayson's other football jersey along with some of my friends. We were sitting in the bleachers closest to our team's bench.

Ethan was also on the football team. He punted the ball to the other team as everyone else on our team ran towards them. One guy caught it and Grayson ran up and stole the ball.

"Gooo Grayson! Run!" I stood up and shouted as he turned around and started running. There were cheers and screaming coming from both bleachers. He almost made it all the way there, until the biggest player on the other team tackled him to the ground. He rammed his legs, causing Grayson to let out an ear splitting shriek.

"GRAYSON!" I screamed loudly as I jumped off the bleachers and ran towards the far end of the field.

People were already starting to gather around him as I made my way through the teams. As far as I could see, he was lying on the ground as his coach was asking him questions and putting pressure on his leg.

"Aaahh!" He screamed and winced in pain.

I pushed through a member of the other team and saw Ethan taking off Grayson's helmet and lifting his head onto his lap. He blood on his jawline, on the side of his head and by his ear.

"You're gonna be okay buddy." Ethan said through tears.

"Where's (y/n)?" He said as he winced at the coach's touch.

I hurried to Grayson's side and grabbed his hand. He looked over at me.

"I'm here Grayson." I said as I let the tears flow down my face.

An ambulance pulled onto the field and two medics came and put Grayson on a gurney. He screamed in pain again and tightened his grip on my hand. I started crying even more as we made our way to the truck.

"You can't come with us." A lady told me and Ethan as she got ready to lift Grayson up into the truck. I was just about to let go of his hand, but he squeezed it tighter.

"If they can't go, then I don't wanna go." He said as he looked into my eyes and more and more tears came down.

After almost thirty seconds of Grayson arguing with the two women who were trying to get him to the hospital, they finally agreed to let me and Ethan go with him.

They lifted him into the truck and Ethan and I got in behind them and closed the door.

After about five minutes of driving, Grayson squeezed my hand tightly.

"If I don't make it-"

"Don't even say that Grayson. You're gonna be fine, alright. Your leg is probably just broken. You're gonna be fine." I said as I wiped my tears with my free hand.

"Yeah bro. You're gonna be fine. Don't think like that." Ethan said as he started to tear up.

"I know. Thanks coming with. I love you guys." Grayson said as he looked around the truck. His eyes stopped on me.

"I love you (y/n). I know I'll be fine as long as I'm thinking about you." He smiled at me.

"I love you more Grayson." I said as I pecked his lips.

"I don't think that's possible." He said as he put his right hand on my neck and brought me down to him. We kissed passionately until we arrived at the hospital.

After two days, Grayson was let out of the hospital. He has to wear a cast on his left leg for about three months, meaning no more sports, which we were both upset about.

I stayed at the hospital for the two days that be had to get X-rays on his leg and he was in intensive care.

Lisa and Ethan picked up me and Grayson from the hospital and I decided to go home with them.

"Thanks for being there for me (y/n)." He says as Ethan and I help him up the front stairs.

"If I didn't love you, I wouldn't have even left the game." I laughed.

He leaned in and pecked you on the lips.

"What was that for?" I laughed as I blushed.

He shook his head. "Just 'cause I love you." He said as he leaned in and gave me another peck on the lips.
