Your First Date (Ethan)

Your POV
It was the last day of school before spring break. You and your boyfriend Ethan have been dating for almost three months and you still haven't been on a date. You've been getting worried that he would never ask you.

You were in final period with Ethan. When the bell rang, you grabbed your books and looked around the classroom for him, but you couldn't find him, so you figured he must've left and you walked out of the room.

He startled you by grabbing your hand and pulling you to the side by his locker.

"You scared me." You said, your heartbeat gradually getting slower.

"Sorry. I have a question."He said looking down at our intertwined fingers.

"I'm listening." You said looking him in the eyes, your heartbeat getting faster.

"I wanted to know if you'd like to go on a date with me?" He said and you blushed.

"Ethan... I, I'd love to." You smiled, making him smile.

"Okay. Are you free tonight?" He asked excitedly.

"Of course. You know I have no social life."

"True, true. Okay just be ready at six and I'll pick you up." He laughed.

"Okay." You kissed him on the cheek and walked away.

You walked home and watched Teen Wolf on Netflix until it was 4:45. You turned off the TV and went upstairs to take a shower. After your shower, you had to decide what to wear. He didn't tell you where you were going, so you couldn't really decide, so you called him.

"Hey Princess."

"Hey Eth. I just have one question."

"What are thooossee!" He said laughing, which made you laugh harder.

"Okay no," he laughed, "what's your question?"

"Where are we going?" You asked quickly.

"That information is strictly confidential. If told you," he stopped and got closer to the phone. "I might have to kill you." He whispered and we both laughed really hard into the phone.

"Well can you at least tell me if I should wear something formal or casual?" You asked still laughing.

"Whatever you're comfortable with. I wouldn't suggest a skirt or a dress though. I'll see you in a bit Princess." He said.

"Bye." You said and hung up. Whatever I'm comfortable with, huh?

You decided to wear your favorite black skinny jeans and a blue, no sleeved shirt with lace at the top and on the back. You put on your blue converse and you didn't put on any makeup because Ethan always told you that you looked beautiful without it. You put your hair in a high placed ponytail and checked the time. 5:51.

You were actually gonna be on time. You went downstairs and waited for Ethan. Your parents were out of town for the weekend and you didn't have any siblings, so it was really quiet. You were kind of nervous waiting for him.

At exactly six, Ethan pulled up in front of yout house and beeped. He texted you-

I'm outside

You walked out the house and locked the door. Ethan got out of the car and ran around to your side and opened the door for you.

"Get in loser, we're going shopping." He smiled and you laughed really hard as you held your stomach and got into the car.

He got into the car and pulled away. "Can you tell me where we're going now?" He didn't look as formal as you. He wore black jogging pants and a white T-shirt with a logo that said SWAG. So fancy.

"You'll see when we get there." He said holding your hand and smiling.

You drove for about twenty minutes until you reached your destination. Dave and Busters.

"Oh my gawd. ETHAN!" You screamed. It was your favorite place to go.

"I knew you'd like it." He laughed as you two got out and walked into the building.

You rode the escalator up to the arcade. You walked in and payed for your cards. He put three hundred tokens on each.

"Ethan, you didn't have to do all this. I'll make it up to you. I promise." You said giving him a hug.

"You deserve the best. And this is nothing. We're still going to one other place after this." He smiled and ran to the basketball nets. You played against each other three times and you won two out of three. You played Mario cart and you won three times. You played four other games and beat him every time.

"Okay. I see how it is. I'm gonna beat you at at least one more game before we leave here." He smiled and laughed.

"Yeah. Okay." You laughed.

You decided to play the huge version of Flappy Bird.

"Oh, I'm definitely beating you at this." He smiled as he swiped his card.

You swiped your card and began to play. You were still going as you both reached nintey four and you went down. He was still going and biting his lip, focusing on going higher. He played until he died at one hundred twenty two.

"Geez Ethan. You could've died when I died." You laughed.

"I won! Awe yeah, one thousand tickets!" He said throwing his hands in the air. Tickets were spewing out of the machine for about a minute.

"Jackpot baby!" He yelled picking up all of his tickets. All together you had about two thousand of them.

You played more games for about an hour until you had no more tokens left on your cards. You knew you had at least five thousand tickets by now. You went up to the prize counter and you got to choose any prize that you wanted. You decided to choose a giant teddy bear with a red bow tie.

"Good choice." Ethan said as the two of you walked out of the arcade. He put his arm around you as you went down the escalator.

"This is the best first date ever." You said excitedly.

"The night is still young y/n. We still have one more place to go, then we'll go to McDonalds." He said kissing your forehead.

You drove for about another twenty minutes and parked next to a place called Flying High. You'd never been here before.

"What is this place?" You asked, holding Ethan's hand as you asked closer to the entrance.

"Look inside." He said pointing as he held the door open for you. You walked in and saw trampolines everywhere.

"Yaaaaassssss! Ethan, this is amazing!" You said, looking around in awe.

"I knew you'd love it. We're gonna have some fun." He said walking up to the front desk and paying for our own trampoline.

"You're gonna be broke after tonight. I hope you realize that." He look at you and gave you his signature really? look.

"Ha! Yeah no." He said and you both laughed and took off your shoes.

You bounced around on your huge trampoline for a while, doing all sorts of tricks. Like front and back flips, cartwheels and just trying to see who can bounce the highest.

After a while, you went to McDonalds. It was already 10:21 by the time you got there. You ate, then went home.

"That was the best date ever. Nothing could ever beat tonight." You said as he opened your door for you.

"Well I'm glad you had a great time. I love you y/n." He said as he leaned in and kissed you.

"I love you more Ethan." You said hugging him.
